I don't think there's a particular brand of soft drink that's universally enjoyed by every person on the spectrum, but I'm curious as to what people with an ASD (as well as those of you who are self-Diagnosed) like to drink, and why.

This could possibly be the dumbest thing I've read here on WP. At least the poll about toes was intended to be a joke.

But I would love to have a mountain dew right now.

Mountain Dew tastes great. I like Diet Mountain Dew most out of any soft drink (but that's only because every time I drink regular Mountain Dew I bounce off the walls because of all the sugar  ).

I don't drink such things anymore. Since I found out I was diabetic I had to quit colas and similar drinks because I hate diet versions. I drink a lot of black coffee.

I cannot drink diet anything because that fake sweetener makes me very nauseous......and well sugar does not really do anything to me, but caffine is my favorite. lol

I think that out of any soft drink, Mountain Dew has the most caffeine. However, rarely do I drink soda for the caffeine content - for caffeine, I prefer Energy Drinks like Red Bull, Monster, etc. I also drink energy drinks in their low-carb versions, since all I'm looking for is the caffeine to make me focus.

Any soda without caffeine. I don't like Pepsi or Coke because I wasn't allowed to drink caffeine when I was little, so I didn't grow up with it.

I do not see the connection between soft drinks and autism, but okay.

Why is Dr. Pepper listed with root beer, however? This makes no sense.

Root Beer and Sprite, though Sprite was not listed. I think Cream Soda would be my absolute favorite.
