What do you usually do on friday nights/ Weekend nights?

What do you guys usually do on friday nights/ weekend nights? I know most people go out (i have heard that most people with AS dont go out but i doubt that). I usually just stay home and play PS3, or study when i am in school

The same I do every night: Sit on the computer, read, sleep.

I have my special interest and am chatting to satisfy my minimal needs for social contacts.

Play PC games, surf the internet, listen to music, work on astronomy related projects. Going out costs money and I don't like to waste it on drunken memories, expensive food, movies or entertainment in general. I am not even interested in doing that stuff if I had money. There's not much to do outside unless you have a car which is another waste of money. I wish it would be possible to live somewhere secluded around nature because city life is dull for people like me. I used to volunteer at an aircraft museum over the summer which was nice but now I live much to far away.

Watch movies at home.

I usually read at home.

usually sitting in my room by myself-I do not get invited or included in things that often.

eat out with my husband. if there's a play or concert in this rural area, we go, but that's only about once per month. so usually i'm on the web.

Same thing every night really... I'm either on the games, the laptop or iPad doing generally the same systematic thing every time, different sites in order, imagery of interests, videos and so on while listening to game music until batteries run dry than move onto---more games... Yeah I'm weird

Relax at home - read, use the computer, study, drink, eat, sleep. These are the best moments of the week/weekend.

Every now and then, I do go out for dinner or something with a friend, but not often. Usually Friday evening. I want to be home by 9pm so that I can still enjoy my Friday night at home. I usually want to save my Saturdays and Sundays for relaxing by myself at home.

Relax at home, watch tv (too much), eat, sleep...
If I'm feeling truly wild I drive to the nearest Barnes and Nobel, get a bunch of books, and read to my hearts content in the cafe.
Once in a blue moon I do go to a comedy club but I don't talk to anyone else. Being part of an audience working together to give performers ideas satisfies most of my social needs.
To be honest during those times when I have a regular weekly social even scheduled, even when it's fun, I look for reasons to get out of it.

Like dreycrux, I'm happy to spend no money on drinks I won't remember drinking, or overly expensive food.

This sentence is the perfect summary. Also, I cannot understand how people go out, drink so much that they have a blackout the next morning and wasted money to waste time and memory because they don't recall a tiny little bit of what they did the day before... What a waste...
And where's the logic?

Often I got this answer from my peers: "But I had so much fun!"

And when I say "Okay, then please give me a summary of the evening so I can try to understand what exactly was fun."
I get this set of answers: "I don't recall anything anymore, but it was fun." or "The things the others told me sounded funny. They said [story]"(mostly idiotic actions (e.g. vandalism) or vomitting involved for your information) or "Everything is so much fun when drunk!" (rare case of memories)

I can't relate to their answers because I have never been drunk (and never intend to) and such actions like vandalism and vomitting are fun? Wow, that's too much for my brain...
I can understand the main motive why they do party though: Socialisation at its best. But I will never understand the drunk part of it.

And some people spend at least $100 - $200 in one night! Such a terrible waste of money and time for the side effects of alcohol, incomprehensible drunken dialogue, embarrassments because of inhibition. Parties as socialisation at it's best? No way, nothing like drunk people, loud music to really bring out the deep philosophical side in people /sarcasm and I'm not talking about that emotional garbage people spew out when inebriated.

When I was in Boston I used to go for walks at night. Perhaps not the safest activity, but that city is pretty dead at night and it's very fascinating to see everything at rest. It's amazing how different everything is at night. I think everything is profoundly more beautiful and interesting.

Now I just stay indoors, because everything where I am now that's in walking distance is boring. So I'll read books, watch Netflix, or just lay on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I used to have friends I would talk to on Skype, but none of them have been online for a while.

I like XBox myself. Drinking is cheaper at home and no DUIs

Movies. Or play some board game with my husband and daughter.
