In my dreams I am always showing autistic traits, I'm never neurotypical. It's like I can't imagine myself being "normal", not even in my dreams. Tonight I dreamed I had a meltdown and that people around me thought I was crazy.

I only remember myself showing Aspie traits in one dream I had this year. Other than that no.

well, the thing is i dont really describe myself as autistic. i am who i am, i just happen to be autistic to other people. my own identity is something i have known forever but i only knew about autism for 3 years. so, i guess in my dreams i am autistic but i dont see it that way, i just see it as me.

Absolutely. I experience the same social anxieties and the same miscommunications with others in the dream world that I do in this one.

I seem to be the same as usual, so yes. However, Autism just doesn't go through my mind most of the time. In fact, I often find myself being reminded that I have AS.

In my dreams I am usually high on some kind of drug and have superpowers :). Autism rarely exists in my dreams.

In some dreams I am explicitly autistic, and often there are other autistic people in those dreams (most of whom I know online).

In most of my dreams, being autistic or not is irrelevant. I don't dream about situations where autism is obvious.

nah, I rarely dream, when dreaming though, I'm not perceiving myself with autistic difference. Though my own dreams are or where rather weird. It is either being sick and everyone else being sick, flying or low gravity long distance jumping, own limbs or skin melting away or waking up in a psychiatric hospital bed, escaping and perceiving people talking random words and shop signs that warp and change to read something else while talking a garbled mess.

And those are just the dreams that I can remember. :?

When I dream, everything is outragously wild, neither autistic nor NT. Whatever is happening feels right and normal at the time.

In my dreams I'm the person I've always wanted to be. I'm brave, skinny, pretty, well loved and liked, have lots of friends and am a feminine gay crossdressing man. I'm still depressed in my dreams and slightly...insane but other then that...all my flaws have vanished.

In my dreams, I'm normal. In real life, however, I'm not.

I've never really thought about it, but now that you mention it, no, I've always been normal in my dreams.

Most of my dreams are about places and things but little about people. There are people in my dreams but I never talk to them and the closer I get to then, The further they move away from me. I just do more exploring places and playing with things then actually talking to people..
