OK, I was shocked! It is like he was watching me or something! Some questions were changed, and some things were added that seemed to fit me like a glove. I'm surprised I scored so low, although I WAS noncommittal on some things:

Experimental version, release 2.0

Thank you for filling out this questionnaire.

Your Aspie score: 138 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 62 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

I'm too lazy to take the test again. But wanted to note that in general as a person ages its likely their aspie score would go down. The rate of decline is likely slow though in my case I scored 187 7 months ago and 187 a month ago.

Was 187 your Aspie score or your NT score?

Tim,

We are just opposite ends of the same universe that's all. My Aspie score went down. How is that? I must have lied this time. LOL My NT score also went down.

I'm curious why you say that. Have there been studies? The thing is that my score must have gone down because, in retrospect, I appeared far more autistic as far as attitude and actions, and AS was obviously clearer because I spent more time on interests that I was more obsessed with, etc... I always figured that was because of need, experience and something(probably tied to puberty) that happened around 8-9. Several autistics on ASD(BOTH SEXES) noticed the same odd phenomenon! I guess Autism changes around 8-9 and it is just a matter of degree, etc... Of course, after that I was STILL different, and STILL had AS symptoms, but they weren't quite as distinct.

Pure supposition on my part. People tend to adjust to problems over time.

I'm diagnosed officially as Aspergers, but the test says otherwise:

Thank you for filling out this questionnaire.

Your Aspie score: 52 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 147 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical

Most likely, my aspergers has gone down since I was diagnosed. I was diagnosed at 13 and I'm now 15...

Maybe my autism meds are helping? Because I find myself to act differently without them.

I hope I'm not an NT. I don't lie! Not much, anyway.

What medications are you taking? As for lying, I wish I was diagnosed in the 60s, and my mother took it to heart. Maybe THEN she would have believed me when I said the truth and she thought I was lying. There are times when I almost hope questions won't be asked because I just have a STRONG aversion to lying. I wish others felt that way towards me.
