I do. I rock slowly. Do you rock and if so, do you rock fast or slow?

Up until I got my Dx, it was slow and subtle enough that no one really noticed. Since I got my Dx, I've eased up on trying so hard to make myself look "normal", and I've started letting myself rock more noticeably. A couple months ago, I was at a party and drunk. I didn't realize I was rocking quite noticeably until it was commented upon a couple times. I was surprised because I still wasn't completely comfortable with letting people see me do it, and I usually tried to "tone it down" when around people.

I'm not sure if I rock fast or slow.... I'm not sure what to compare it to....

I do mainly when I'm by myself sitting. It can come on for no reason at all. It is more common when I'm stressed. My other stim, leg bouncing is more commom in public while sitting down.

I rock...ROCK THE ROOF OFF! YEEEEAHH!! *electric guitar wheedling*

*cough*
Hmm.

But yes, I do rock every now and then when I'm sitting. Usually at a slow-to-medium pace.

I enjoy rocking chairs very much. I also rock in non-rocking chairs--sometimes to the point where the chair might tip over.

Rock like rock-n-roll with loud music, no. XD

Rock like rocking-chairs yes. From time to time I notice myself doing it subconsciously. I rock quite slowly but it turned fast when I'm really hyper or too excited. Once I notice it, I'll control it as soon as I notice that is if I'm in public.

Yah - I'm a rocker

Really like rocking chairs. Also, spin back and forth in office chairs.

I like rocking and spinning. I also like deep pressure when stressed.

I rock backwards and forwards and sideways, a bit fast. When upset, I'm more likely to rock back and forth, but not every time I rock back and forth instead of sideways necessarily means I'm upset. It's soothing and comforting.

Steel Maiden,

Ever try one of those "squeezing machines" that Temple Grandin invented for herself?

It would be great if I could try one. But I don't have access to one. I really wish I had one.

Yeah...I know what you mean.

Are you good at making things like a carpenter might?

I, myself, am totally clueless as to how to make things like a carpenter.

Rock back and forth when sitting. I love recliners and office chairs that rock or pivot. I rock side to side when just standing.

Cheers, Dave

Slow rocking, when I'm stressed or uncomfortable.

Yes - and I also like "balancing" on normal chairs on two legs, near to the point where they almost tip backwards.
