I'm really sensitive to clothing. I have like 4 cotton undershirts that I rotate, and wear under everything. Some of them are getting old. I have a hard time finding soft, white t-shirts that are comfortable. Anybody have any suggestions?

Well I cant really help. Its just sort of hard to answer you question. I would tell you what brands have the best material, where you can find it and such. Accept I really dont know anything about that.

I don't know what they have in New York but I suggest looking around in department stores or thrift stores. I hope this helps.

Craft stores often have plain, soft T-shirts. Why don’t you try Michael’s or Hobby Lobby? I know for a fact they both have them in all sizes and colors. :)

I wear silk when possible. Hand washed, so that the soap doesn't bug me.

From craft stores huh? That sounds exotic. Maybe I'll try it. Thanks for the input. :D

Try the thrift store.
I only like used clothing because it is often already soft and broken in
I can't wear polycotton because i can feel each indiviual poly fiber jabbing at me.

At least the thrift stores near where I live are nice..well stocked and inexpensive.
I don't know what it is like in your neck of the woods.

I've always bought my son's shirts at Target, they have the tagless shirts and the fabric is very thin and soft. he's never complained about softness, roughness in his shirts but I get them because he gets hot quickly-even in winter. I prefer them because they don't have logos and come in solids and stripes.

It's hard to know what you would like because we all seem to be different. Right now I'm obssesed with finding pants that don't cut into my waist when I sit down. I hate the feel of anything touching my stomach. Elasticized pants cut in, and too-big zip-fly pants fall off when I stand up (don't even think about mentioning a belt!), and bunch in the crotch when I sit down.

I don't like anything touching my stomach either.
I wear comfy skirts with pockets and leggings underneath.
I like the below the waist pants too..but it is hard to find ones that are just right.

Mens pants...where the waist size is the same as your hip size, so they ride on your hips.
That is what I have done for years...but now..those low rise pants are all over the place...but then I have to wear long shirts..to compensate..but at least they don't touch my stomach[b]

My husband only wears the polo tee shirt with the front pocket and only white or light grey cause the dark colors aren't as soft. They do have a tag though which gets ripped out immediately. My son likes the tee shirts from Target that have no tags or Hanes or Fruit of the Loom tees without tags.

I agree that you are probably better off finding something in a secondhand store. New stuff tends to be uncomfortable until it is washed and worn a few times.

Or maybe you could find someone your size to break the stuff in for you.

You're welcome! :D I used to buy the T-shirts to decorate them with iron-on transfers and stuff, but there are tons of other uses for them as well. Good luck!
