are you like me? does the idea of complete coverage of the sky make you comfortable? do you like it when it rains? the sounds of rain and thunder drown out other noises and cause NTs to go hiding in thier homes, leaving you able to relax - no lawn mowers, no chainsaws, no people just sitting outside listening to the radio or making other noises that you wish you didn't have to deal with. is thunder something sootheing or something disruptive?

i like everything that storm clouds represent. they make me feel cozy and seem to pacify everyone else around me.

Storms for me are like sunny days for everyone else.

As long as my window isn't open I think it's soothing. Especially the sound of the rain. I don't like hot / sunny weather.

I used to be so scared of storms. Now I'm ok with them.

I love storms...they can freak me out, but as usual, anything dangerous I have to face straight up so I open all the curtains up and watch the lightning....always feel sad when they go away.

We get pretty wild ones here that come up quickly from nowhere in the Summer...unfortunately this last Summer we didn't get that many :(

The only loud noises I don't like are sudden ones that sound unnatural. Th ekinds from accidents and the like. Also I hate barking dogs, which is odd because I have and love dogs.

Thunder is nice. I like it. I'm easily startled by it, but I still like it.

The only loud noise I really dislike is the noise that washing machines make.

Hailstorms. Lightning flashing. Warm rain running like blood over me. The pain, the thrill. Riding the winds through the storm. The thunder terrifies me, but like all terror is one of the purest and most beautiful feelings. Soaked through and through. Electrical charge coursing through my whole being.

It's ok.

A dark, stormy sky always makes me feel cozy. I like storms.

The only time I don't is when they sprawn a tornado - as tornadoes are one of my mortal fears. I have nightmares about them about 4 times a week. (That I know of)

A tornado touched down in Te Puke (which is an inch away from here from a cumulonimbus cloud's point of view) and ripped off half a house.

Once thunder set off my car alarm. I could feel it, too. It was awesome. The power in those clouds can't help but terrify me. I read about weather all the time.

I hate the sound of thunder, it has made me jump in fear ever since I was a child... it's just really annoying. However, I really love storm clouds- I love any kind of clouds, actually. They have beautiful colours and you can make out a lot of shapes from them. :D

Storms are beautiful. Every summer I’ve known no different (those in QLD will understand). We get some pretty funky ones up here in the mountains, the noise from the lightning is immense – easily enough to cause tinnitus if you’re close enough to the strike (it's awesome). I enjoy standing in the rain (though I prefer the rain to be cooler than the air) with the winds completely enveloping you from all directions, the mist…the mist that comes afterwards is like a blanket. I feel safe. It does not scare me.

Interestingly enough, I also feel safe and secure when I stand outside in the night looking into oblivion.

(To OP: I don't have to worry about people and their concerns much out here; 'cause there really isn't any.)

Thunderstorms are awesome! It's because the effects from them are so much more interesting than normal sunny days.
Edit--Or indeed, just plain cloudy days.

As long as the sun isn't in my eyes and I'm not hot, then I'm happy with the weather.

I love rain, storm clouds, and "bad" weather in general.
