Hand flapping

When I am nervous or excited, I tend to do small amounts (seconds) of hand flapping. Does anyone else do this?

Is there a good way, on how I can control it?

yes I concentrated all my quirks into blinking and wear sunglasses a lot so no one notices

Now I don't feel so alone

I am going to buy myself a new pair of sunglasses.

It's just a nervous tick? That when something fun or frightening, stimulates a certain part of our brain, we react by hand flapping. What part of the brain triggers this reaction.

I must go and see what that noise in the back garden is, oh forget it I'm to comfortable.

yeah it's just a nervous tick...

and I never met anyone with aspergers before coming here...feels so good

Hand flapping is good! If I can do it just right, perhaps I can fly, like in dreams.

I don't hand flap but I fidget. I rub the top of my thumb over the side of my pointer finger. At least, this has been common for me recently.

Damn you person below me, you made me stop and think about my actions. Sometimes (rarely) I do slightly hand flam or have a 'limp wrist' when I'm talking or when I'm pausing in mid thought.
