Or at least I don't connect with many who are here, judging by the relative lack of replies I get.
I thought I at least had Aspergic traits but the evidence would suggest I am wrong.

I seen there is another forum topic regarding the popular or "in crowd" forum site. I find it funny that what we hate about other people, we do to others on here. Yet, what is also assuming is that I never cared if I was liked, so jokes on them. The moderators should probably look into changing that since it defeats the purpose of the site, for those that care.

Thanks for replying. This thread really proves my point. 90 views and only one reply from another person. It's not just here it's most other places too. I post a lot of threads that get a minimal or zero response(not counting posts with article links that I accept might not get many replies). This kind of tells me that I don't really fit in.

There'll still be very few replies by noon tomorrow. I'm very much an outsider.

Reply to....what?

You haven't really said anything in this thread.

So how can anyone reply to it?

I've seen threads where you did get a good amount of responses.

You're not truly an outsider.

Yeah. That has largely been my take on things here at Chez Mauvaise Planète. There is, indeed, a significant portion of our community which challenges, doubts and criticizes us regardless of the topic. Simple, calm conversation is apparently beyond all expectations.

I have resorted to avoiding the hostile class (unless I find them taking aim at others). Think about it. Users of a free web forum find acceptance only within their avoidance of others. Incredible.

I lack the intellectual capacity to relate to any of your post...although i can relate to being an outsider...but have come to accept it and honestly started to love it...so trying to fit in is the least of my concerns...I actually joined WP to learn about ASD... :D

A couple of questions come to mind ...
Have you ever replied to any of my posts?
If not, why not?

I honestly can not say. I don't recognise your name so maybe not .I accept that not everyone can reply to every post or even read every post. However it often seems, not just here but generally, that my posts are more likely to be short on replies.

I do reply to other people's posts but I'm not sure that's a good thing for the threads as I think I'm something of a thread killer.

If I make a thread, there are times when I don't get many responses, either.

Probably you post mostly in sub-forums where I simply don't venture, so our paths just haven't crossed.
Well, now they have.
Hail and well met! :)

a gemstone from my

nobody responded so I deleted the thread.

I still haven't found the gemstone ...

I get what you are saying when it is pointed out. I have a problem with insecurity re belonging because I am not the kind of person who easily makes friends or solid connections with others. I get the feeling this is true of my online communications too.
I see lack of replies as I am unpopular ,which brings back memories of being ostracised as a child but especially as a teenager.
