Hey guys, i need some help.

So it seems all my stims are pretty harmful or bad, like i used to throw myself to my ground and bash my head on walls.

But theres another stim i have which i cant stop doing, ive mentioned it before, i like to bite my dogs and cat. And yes, it does hurt them. I stop biting them when they cry but then i find myself doing it again. I dont want to hurt them but i also cant stop biting them, i got myself a chew toy but its not the same texture and consistancy as biting them so i find myself chewing on them again.

Can anyone relate? Does anyone know any chewlery that might mimic animal fur and skin?

That's very interesting. Is it purely for the feel/texture? I know I personally have feelings of "love agression" with my family members I've never personally acted on it though. Perhaps some faux fur from the fabric store with a layer of silicone/rubber underneath would do the trick?

You definately need to seek professional help quickly.

Good luck.

Perhaps you could find a taxidermy animal at a garage sale or eBay to chew on.

Maybe chew on a rabbit's foot key chain.

Why not try biting yourself? I'm not being an ass or or flippant.

It's better to bite yourself, than someone turning you in for animal abuse. And considering how ramped people get over animals being hurt, you having autism+the need for that stim will cut no slack with the court.

What you doing would get you 2 years jail time plus 5 years probation, and no animals could be own during your probation were I live.

Does anyone else know you do this? If not, really get some help. You don't want someone calling animal control on you.

If I didn't recognize your name, I swear I would have thought this was a troll. I know it's not, and feel sorry for you and your animals.

Also look into why to autistics pinch and bite other people. There might be absolution there that can help you.

Never heard of this, i pull eyelashes and facial hairs out. I would seek help for that and try to bite something that doesn't feel pain.

There are furry toys in the pet section (of grocery stores etc) for dogs to attack and chew on made to look like foxes,or ferrets, or something.

I suppose that you could get yourself one of those. Maybe even play oral tug of war with one your dogs with one.

I would recommend that you stop abusing your pets pronto though.

yep i was gonna say...look into getting a taxidermy animal.
although, i have never bitten a live animal (or a dead one in 15 years lol) and so i don't know how similar a taxidermy animal would be. you could potentially find a taxidermist who could custom make a more realistically fleshy animal for you. but i don't really know what i'm talking about, it's just something you could consider researching.

i understand why tawaki thinks you should try biting yourself instead, but i would urge you to be careful with that since biting yourself is yet another self-harming stimming behavior that you could potentially become addicted to. better than biting your pets, for sure, but definitely not good!

you could also maybe look into cat toys? like little furry mice...it may be hard to find the skin texture you like, though it's possible there are some manufacturers who make them like that. you could also maybe do some DIY mouse toy surgery and insert a balloon filled with sand or something inside.

again, i don't really know, but i hope you can figure something out soon!

Don't bite yourself.....especially if it causes a wound. And especially if you can't restrain yourself enough not to cause a wound.

Talk about a reservoir for infection created by a bite!

You live in an area which, perhaps, still might have pelts/furs for sale. Maybe get a small pelt to bite on?

How about a small-sized Jellycat plush? Their squishability would be good for biting, and their fur is very soft.

If you are a meat eater, how about eating a steak?

I like to bite people. I also like to bite to the point of pain. But nobody likes it so I don't do it.

Do your pets avoid you? Are they scared of you? People are talking about abuse, but animals play kind of rough sometimes and scratch and bite. I'm not advocating animal abuse. And I don't think you should bite them ever, but maybe folks are being a bit hard on you.

Nah my animals arent afraid of me, after i bite them and let go they lick me. My younder dog Echo cries when i bite him but my older dog Lola doesnt cry unless i use all my fource (which is unnecesary and i dont do it) they dont avoid me, if anything i cant get Echo to leave me alone, he follows me everywhere and always instigates cuddles.

I see pople saying to bite myself.

How do you think the stim started when i was young? My arms were covered in marks and i used to bite my friends and parents but my parents kept telling me to stop and punished me, so i fourced myself to stop and started chewing on other things. Pencils. Straws, plastic.

I guess i kinda chew on everything, its really hard to stop myself. I still to this day break it and bite myselF AND my friends, actually during a sleepover bit my friend so hard it bruised. :/

Btw the chemicals used in tacedermy animals are fatal, poisonus and cancerous. That and taxedermy animals are not soft and squishy, they are stiff and hard.
