Would we expect
(a) that person would feel pretty amazingly good from being able to communicate with people, feel, have social joy?
(b) he/she might feel some obligation, moral compassion, to try to share it?
(c) most people would think he/she was a real nutter because what he's saying is unexpected and against previous assumptions?
(d) but a few other people might try around with the approaches and ideas, and find their own way through, out from AS - and then it would develop and spread,... and a lot of people would have a lot better lives in all the years to come?

I would like to know what would happen if an NT found a way out of neurotypicality.

DR_NT refuses to give up. Until he can get to the final solution to the aspie problem he is entertaining himself by psychological warfare on aspies.

You want to "cure" aspergers the best treatment seems to be oxytocin nasal spray at this time.

Some people might wonder why he is posting this idea on the internet instead of selling it to the health care industry, contacting organizations like "Cure Autism Now", or applying for a U.S. government grant. It would be worth millions.

JC! Why do you ask? Did you finaly realize you have NO idea what you are talking about?

Actually, AS people can communicate well, feel, and have "social joy"

Is it OUR fault that NTs assume so much, etc....?

Quote:
(b) he/she might feel some obligation, moral compassion, to try to share it?

Actually, I think many have already done that. YOU are not one of them!

Quote:
(c) most people would think he/she was a real nutter because what he's saying is unexpected and against previous assumptions?

WOW, You're full of yourself, etc.... You haven't explained most of it, and make your ignorance all too obvious!

Quote:
(d) but a few other people might try around with the approaches and ideas, and find their own way through, out from AS - and then it would develop and spread,... and a lot of people would have a lot better lives in all the years to come?

You keep talking about AS like it is all problems.

I don't think this will ever happen, one may make huge strides to become more seemingly NT, but if they were "cured" were they AS to begin with? I doubt it.

I would like to have the ability to fit in socially, and like some other things changed, but I'm not about that if I had to give up who I was.

I wonder if this guy is who Snake was talking about? I PMed Snake to ask, in case he's still around.

I already am very good with communication, and your grammar is killing my joy.

Quote:

Depends on the person

Quote:
(c) most people would think he/she was a real nutter because what he's saying is unexpected and against previous assumptions?

I don't think many people in the NT world would care

Real;y? Would it really make life better? I think my life is pretty damn good, AS or not.
