Does anyone here not "feel" the force when they use their strength?

I often slam doors, and I sometimes even "tap" (apparently for them, its "hit"!) people too hard on the back, or break things occasionally. But I can't feel the force that I am using. When I nearly break a door (I have broken part of a door before), all I can feel is myself pushing it a bit; to me it feels like a normal push.

Does anyone else experience this? Or similar?

Defiantly,
I used to often break things.

For me, it's kind of the opposite. I don't know my own strengths either, just that I'm not very powerful. I wish I didn't have to give it so much effort when the moment comes to break something.

I do weightlifting and other resistance exercises though.

I find it difficult to judge/control the amount of force I apply. I even type loudly because I am not able to appropriately moderate the force I strike the keys with.

I know how you feel! Do you have problems directing your force, i.e. if you try to kick something, you end up hurting yourself because you couldn't direct the kick? I used to have that problem, but since I started kickboxing, my accuracy has much improved.

I break stuff a lot and tend to not know my limits with respect to how strong I am. One thing that has bothered me a lot about NTs I deal with is they tend to just assume they aren't strong enough for stuff. Lots of times I've just tried something I was told there was no way I was strong enough to do (i.e. dead lift a washing machine onto a truck). I think NTs may "know their own strength" better, but I feel like I just don't have a safety threshold built in so I can do more with the strength I have. I am no weight lifter or anything like that.

Also I type way too loud too.

Yes, that's definitely true; NTs just say "oh, I couldn't do that; I'm not strong enough." Well, I don't know the meaning of humble, so I just go and do it.

I don't weightlift excessively. If you looked at me fully clothed, you wouldn't think of me as muscular. I'm not big; I'm slim and I do a lot of running. But when it comes to brute force, I can smash panes of glass.

The problem is, is that I have so much energy inside me, strength-wise, that I need to get a punch bag, just to punch/kick anything, to get the energy out, but my Mum won't have a punchbag in the house.

What can I do? The only time I can really kick/punch is in kickboxing for 50 minutes a week. :( If anyone has any ideas, please tell me.

Yes, I also have accuracy problems. Heck it's an exception if I make a cup of coffee without spillage or injury, much less direct and control the force of a kick...

I would suggest you buy wrist weights for when you are running. It makes a huge difference to me, as a teenager if I didn't have access to a punching bag I HAD to run with weights on my wrists or I would go crazy.

You should try a precision sport of some sort. Starting right from the beginning is very helpful.

That's quite a good idea.
Kicking air is just not the same. I think I'll have to build something in my room.

Otherwise known as
F = ma

Also to get things going
p = m.Δv

We can't do much without momentum.

I experience the opposite. It might be my way of coping through a mix of physics, martial arts, and hand-eye coordination training, but I am petranaturally (think thats the word) aware of the energy I am controling. Like if I apply the break of a car I dont think "brake slows car" I think "The brake is being applied to the wheel which is causing friction that drains the car of kinetic energy thus slowing the cars volocity". Its almost surreal to so intouch with what you are doing and conprihend the forces your body is capable of. I also experiment and practice the application. Like trying to hit a door open with a single hit, rather then typically applying energy over a far greater length of time. I also do the reverse, stopping a moving object by applying an equal amount of energy in the opposite direction. Its very facinating.
