Personally, I don't believe you need to buy weighted blankets, all you have to do is pile about 5 heavy wool blankets on top of you, and turn the heat down in your bedroom so that you don't get too warm...well, that's for sleeping and if I want the weight on my lap while I'm doing something, I just fold one of my extra long wool blankets to a smaller size and lay it across my lap...I've been buying way too many blankets on ebay because I have a tendency to go overboard when I take an interest in collecting something,

and I inadvertantly discovered that many blankets on top of me was a good thing because I fell in love with all of the blankets I bought, and couldn't choose just one to sleep with, ended up with all of them in my bedroom, and then ended up with 3 on me, which then led to 4 and then to 5, hilarious or what?

I've bought a total of about 20 antique, beautiful wool blankets with lovely designs, and 5 hand made quilts, and I rotate them...this is an old house and my bedroom doesn't exactly get too warm anyway, you know? I didn't know how comforting and how well I'd sleep this way except by accident...I highly recommend it! I've always slept with a lot of blankets but nothing beats the weight of a vintage wool blanket...plus the designs are out of this world beautiful! Also I've had a blast bidding on these blankets and it's a thrill when you win the bid, but if you do the ebay thing, be careful not to bid too high on any particular blanket because if you win it, you must pay for it...and remember, there will always be more blankets to bid on...just as pretty as the one you lost the bid on...this is advice from an ebay adict,

Haha i do that also, load tons tons and tons of blankets and comforters on me when i sleep and like 8 pillows, but i really need a vest for focusing and payin attention for school and etc..
