This forum is for General Autism Discussion only.

I quote from the description:

Quote:
Talk about anything that has at least something to do with Autism, Asperger's, ADHD, and life. Other unrelated discussion belongs in the Random Discussion forum.

If you are having major problems with your life and need to rant or need counselling, the Haven is there.

If you require academic help, try one of the other subforums. They are there.

And remember to keep to the rules.

What if I am "having major problems with [my] life and need to rant" because I "require academic help"?

Haven. Any questions on an academic subject goes to either the schools forum, or any of the relevant subsections.

Thanks for putting this on. It will help newer members work out where to put their posts and stop bothering those who are here for a long time. :D

Quatermass, I apologize for being vulgar. Sometimes my immature sense of humor gets the better of me and I can't resist retorting to another immature comment that someone else makes. I'll try to be more consciencous.

Just a suggestion: Please use a more descriptive subject line than A Reminder, especially for a sticky topic. Something on the order of Appropriateness of Posting to this Discussion might be better, and more likely to be read and observed, IMO.

I know that I tend to gloss over threads whose subject lines are completely generic (e.g., "Why?") unless I'm completely bored.

Me too. It's just a question of consideration for others to indicate in the subject line what the content is about. I always think hard to come up with a subject line that gives an idea what people will find inside.

Yes, no time to waste at all, must have good reason to read a thread and a title that tells you what its about is more likely to attract readers if time is short.

Looks like somebody's having a dig at you for not getting the syntax perfect. You responded appropriately in my opinion, provided no rabbits were harmed in the creation of that image.

But we're losing sight of your question - what naughtiness gave rise to the original complaint/reminder? It seems a fair question to me. Anyway I'm not guilty - I hardly ever start threads anyway.

There was a certain poster that was spamming the boards. I haven't seen her in awhile though, so I think she's gone.

I expect that was so; having a dig, that is. I'm sure my previous comment was intended to be complementary.

The thread is decidedly bogus!

I agree that the response was appropriate.
