So what's the average score for someone without executive dysfunction, and what's the average score for someone with it?

Nobody ever answered this one in the whole thread. I'm pretty sure, however, that it's more than *ONE*, which is all I came up with: snake.

I got ten.

snake
shrew
saber toothed tiger
star nosed mole
snowy owl
salamander
starfish
seal
sea lion
stallion

Ironically, I didn't even consider "squirrel".

After reading some of the responses, I feel silly. I should have been able to think of way more than eight:

salamander
shark
squirrel
snake
swan
songbird (not even sure if that one counts)
skunk
skink

without needing to disclose my score, it's reassuring to know that most people got 3 or less

What this means regarding Executive Function i don't know

I got 2. I got stuck on the word simian, which is not an animal, exactly. Then I tried to think of primates that start with S. Didn't work out so well.

I got snake, squirrel, salamander, and scorpion. Then they just keep replaying in my head, and the I keeping trying to put S in front of other sounds, then I realized what seemed so easy wasn't happening for me. Then when I started reading what others came up with I'm mentally beating myself up over not being able to dod something so easy and obvious. No wonder I had such low self esteem in school.
