I fit almost every single one. I dont think I am a savant, but I do have some pretty strong talent at certain things. It seems subjective though. I found this list a while back and printed it out for my file I am taking to the doctor. The only things I don't quite fit is the part about being awkward around a male I like. I am not sure that would still apply to me- but it did when I was younger. I also dont have a lot of meltdowns, but they so happen occasionally. That would make all of these traits apply to me, only 2 being slightly applicable and the rest DEAD ON.

Most fit me as well, except a few things in the "emotional" column. I'm not really emotional and hardly ever cry. I can remember being angry about 3 times in the last ten years. I don't think I get too happy, either. I think I spend most of my time being emotionally neutral.

Wow. That list pretty much completely describes me-- except for being better at socializing. I'm very bad at that & have never liked it.

I'm a guy, and that pretty much describes what I find different about myself when compared to other Aspies. Maybe these differences aren't due to male/female differences, and are more accountable to a variation of autism which hasn't yet been picked up?

It would make sense. There are several variations of autism. Most of them impact males far more heavily than females. This could just be one of the areas where the gender ratio is more even.

(Which would explain the disproportionate impact on Aspie females, as this would be the only variant having a significant effect on the female population when compared to everything else.)

Just food for thought.
