I strongly relate to decision fatigue! I have lots of nice clothes in my closet, and anyone with more delight about mixing and matching would have a ball creating a different cute outfit every day from what I've got.

But I tend to wear the same thing every day, and/or only two or three garments rotated -- as if those are the only clothes I have! I'm sure some people I know think I have nothing else to wear.

And it's because I hate making decisions about what to wear and what to put with what. I actually know what goes with what and could look really put together and even dressy/stylish. But I can't stand the process. I just want to grab the one or other t-shirt that is my default t-shirt, and get on with my day.

I often look at all my pretty things and feel it's a crying shame that I have no interest in wearing 90% of them. Things that are even comfortable and I have no problem with them, it's just the decision thing. I just don't want to have that extra little "problem" each day.

It can take me up to a half hour to decide what I want to wear....you'd think it would be simple with all the clothes I have to just pick some, but nope. Also it gets annoying in the summer I will have to periodically change shirts during the day if I sweat too much, guess it feels better than not changing them but then I end up with clothes all over my floor.

In summer, t-shirts and cargo shorts.

In winter, it's plain long-sleeved shirts and jeans.

When I'm out of those, though, I just wear whatever's the most comfortable.

Such a fashionable life.

I can only do cotton tops/shirts/shorts and denim jeans in the winter due to sensory issues. I find all other materials uncomfortable and prickly. I can only wear denim on my legs, can't stand wearing denim on my top half. I usually just wear clothes I like but I always wear a t-shirt with a soft cotton shirt on top.

My clothes HAVE to be comfortable, or I won't wear them! I like more neutral colors as opposed to brighter colors, usually. And finally, My shoes HAVE to fit comfortably, or I'd just as soon go barefoot! :D

I don't know.

I wear comfortable clothes. I don't like jeans so I wear track pants and sometimes shorts. I also like grey/black clothing, stripes are always nice too.

I don't think the similarities are in how we dress, but why. For instance, when I (and perhaps other aspies) evaluate my clothes, I think about a lot more than just if it looks good on me. I also focus on functionality (will it help me function in day to day life, e.g. pockets) and if it will my sensory sensitivities.

Like some others, I like choosing very similar clothes (in color, shape, number of buttons, etc.) as before. It's one of my routines, actually.

In Work, shirt and trousers and shoes

In home life, comfy clothes, never head a stylish bone in my body

Winter, jumpers/sweaters and tracksuit bottoms and trainers
Summer T-shirt and shorts (if warm enough/sunny enough)

Although never used to like wearing shorts.

All i really care about is do my shoes slide on and off easily. They sweat badly in shoes so I like to slip them off at work when I'm at my desk or else my socks get really wet. So some type of loafers with jeans and a t-shirt.

Does anybody know where I can order plus-sized women's clothes for office work, in cotton, silk, or some other natural fiber? I can't find anything but synthetic fabrics or stuff that's too casual for the corporate world. Dresses, blouses, slacks, skirts, suits are all fine. My wardrobe has gotten so thin I'm about to go back to sewing my own clothes again.

If I could, I'd wear my pyjamas all day - soft, warm and comfortable. As it is, for the sake of my husband, I get dressed in the morning and wait until 6.30/7 pm before getting my pyjamas back on. My clothes are always plain (I hate patterns) and either black, white or grey. I have recently added navy blue and checkered clothes and I also bought an orangey-red shirt dress and 2 striped shirts because I wanted to try being more adventurous. Usually I wear the same clothes over and over or I have similar styles of clothes. Sometimes, I'll have more than one of the exact same item. My clothes are often from charity shops because I don't like any of the latest styles and fashions. At the moment there's only one coat I will wear, which is falling to bits. My husband and mother keep trying to buy me a new one and give me money to buy one, but I've been looking for a year and I can't find one to replace it. I don't think I ever will :(
