In college right now, and since my family doesn't have a lot of money, that means that most things (like housing, my meal plan, etc.) are covered by financial aid. I have worked in the past (through a work study), but not this semester. I still have enough money from when I did, though, to cover most of the small things that I just want to get for myself since I'm fairly frugal.

I'll hopefully be getting out of school in December, so at that point I'm going to be looking for a job. Probably something part time, so that I can save up enough for the first few payments on an apartment when I go back for an MPA in August. Once I get into school, I'm planning to look for a job on campus again. I'll also have an internship if everything works out, since it's required for the degree. If I get lucky, it may even pay enough that I don't have to worry so much about anything else. If I'm not, it may not pay at all, except in life experience :?

I make enough money to supports myself, but I live at home rent-free. It's more to save, and I enjoy the company. But I have lived alone in the past, and will do so again.

I am currently on odsp (ontario disability support program) which is canada's version of disability. I am formally diagnosed with Aspergers, and also have OCD, Anxiety, learning disability and Tourette Syndrome. I am also currently in the process of getting diagnosed with epilepsy. So it's very hard for me to work.

Yeah I also have Asperger's and a learning disability, anxiety and ADHD and am applying for ODSP soon. I live with my mom and she supports me right now.

I picked other. I have great difficulty in maintaining a job, so I am not self-supporting. I just moved away from home for the first time because I am going to school in another town. I live alone, but I am still dependant on my parents for help (not financially). For money, I am on two different student loans (I did not qualify for disability unless I chose to drop out of school). If it was not for school right now, I would currently be on disability.

I support myself. I am in my 25th year of teaching in a public school system. My wife also works, so our two salaries combine to run our household.

I work hard for a yr, live with a boyfriend who paid the rent, and then I decided I was too young to commit to it all. I save up to 10k. So I live with my family (sitting on my savings; no rent), i buy food occasionally now.

It was difficult to enter the job market out of college, but now I'm self-supporting. I make more than average and own my own home, where I live with just my cat.

I'm a 25-year-old diagnosed Aspie. I work 32 hours a week, and I attend college part-time. I finally got out of my parents' home early this year, and I am happily living in a small apartment with my cat. I am almost entirely self-supporting. I don't make a whole lot, but I live cheap and have always been good with money.

My parents have helped me with a few things. The biggest was some expensive dental bills I had this year. I needed to get oral surgery to correct a defect I was born with, it's costing about $2500 to fix. They pay my cell phone bill, but it's only about $10 a month for mine because it's a basic phone on their plan which includes two smartphones with internet access. My dad has also had me on his health insurance this year, but that will be ending at the end of the year, and I'll have to get insurance through my job.

I live with my partner. I work, but not enough to cover rent, so we get housing benefit. My parents would give me money if I asked them. My Dad buys me things from time to time. So I'm about 80% self supporting.

I'm on student loans atm, and will likely be on an NHS bursary for the following 3 years after next year, but before that I was supporting my self with a job.
