How polite is it to accuse people you don't know of "faux individualism?"

Your responses are defensive in the extreme which indicates to me that you aren't totally at ease with having tattoos, otherwise you wouldn't be bothered by my opinions.

You seem to have an unfortunate habit of assigning imaginary motives to people you've never met.

And there was me thinking a discussion board was for people to post their opinion when all along it was for everyone to have the same opinion as you.

Yes, this is a discussion board. Why do you feel people are not allowed to criticize your opinion?

Lol you are criticising my opinion - I'm not stopping you

Lovely.

Then you understand the point of a "discussion board."

I like the look of a fuzzy tattoo on somebody elderly. It looks historical-part of their personal history. I have no tattoos myself but that is because I'm scared of needles, not for aesthetic reasons. I like looking at them on other people- including the fuzzy ones on elderly men (it's all men currently- that will obviously change in the future).

The body is a temple, sure enough. But many cultures decorate their temples (like Notre Dame- lovely!) and those decorations show history and tell stories even as they age and get fuzzy. Plus they look great.

Not realizing that posting your opinions on a public "discussion board" opens them to criticism implies that you're still having trouble with the concept.

You can say what you like about my opinions; I was pointing out the irony of you saying my opinion was impolite by being impolite yourself That was my point!

I never stated your opinion was "impolite."

Please stick to what I actually said.

I have no idea if that's supposed to be a question or a statement.

And I'm still not sure what's "ironic."

Tattoos don't really appeal to me.

I have always associated tattoos with criminals and deviants. That it has become socially accepted in the past 20 years or so to get them, and thus has become trendy, has made me dislike them all the more.

However, some tattoos are true works of art. Nevertheless I find human skin to be far much more attractive when it is wholly unadorned with or marred by ink

I don't have any, they wouldn't suit me, but I think they look hot on some people.

Most people on this site are 'deviants'...

A lot of people make me feel they see me as deviant when I'm doing literally nothing wrong or abnormal and the utter unfairness of this makes me feel so annoyed that I fantasise about actually doing something deviant just to serve them right and it also means I always have a certain amount of sympathy for people who do really deviant stuff like going on killing sprees as I often feel sufficiently alienated from society to understand exactly why they've done it. I'm too well brought up to do it myself though so society can consider it's had a lucky escape!

Yeah, society already has a huge problem with my gender issues. I'm pretty much "deviant" with or without ink.

P.S. I find "baseline humans" just this side of dull. If Heck, I could get cybernetic implants, I'd totally go for it.
