Snow itself can look real nice, and I kinda like it actually, as long as there's not more than about 20 cm of it on the ground at once. More than that makes walking around rather challenging, takes a long time to press down to make a sleddable hill, and it makes shovelling/plowing take longer than I'd like.

The one thing I do not like about snow, though, is when this happens, which it does all too often where I live:
snow -> ice pellets -> freezing rain -> rain

Shovelling in rain is no fun, and the snow turns slushy. Plowing the snow means I stay drier, but the truck is not invincible, for the rain makes really heavy, and reduces traction. Worse yet, it tends to freeze into ice, which is pretty well useless for anything other than slipping and sliding, AND, it makes any future snowfalls very difficult to deal with.

I MISS snow.... badly!
I live in Copenhagen and right now it is damned cold, but the snow falls everywhere else in Denmark. Copenhagen is "shielded by the swedish highlands" as the saying goes. We simply have the dullest weather in our country. No thunder, no snow.... not much for wild-weather enthusiasts. Sigh!

24" is twice as good as 12". What I hate is the shoveling.

1960s through 1970s.

Yes, we had snowmobiles back then.

I don't like snow. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere- wait, sorry, that's sand.

It's like rain- how pleasant or unpleasant depends on what kind of snow it is and what the rest of the weather is doing. A blizzard with high wind is nasty, as is light snow that partially melts then re-freezes, leaving the pavements lethally icy. Right now we're having some very nice snow here. Moderately heavy, wind not too high, and it's been going on for a while so the regular supply of new snow on top of old makes it less slippery. Plus, it looks amazing.

I'd say I have mixed feelings, snow looks nice and I don't mind shoveling. But what does bother me a bit about snow is that during the pandemic it can make social distancing much more difficult. We had a snow storm in my area and it forced everyone to have to walk only in narrow trails because every other surrounding space was saturated in snow. This made social distancing almost impossible without having to walk in the street.

I like it, it's very picture postcard, but I can't walk in it without falling over!

I don’t hate it but there are lots of things I don’t like about it either.
