I'm a Buddhist. Which is basically a peaceful atheist that also believes in reincarnation. And that's what I say all the time is that I must've done something bad in my past life to deserve the unfair life I have now. Not because of my Autism I actually think of it as a gift. It makes me super smart medically. But because i'm adopted and I hate my adoptive family and I wish I was prettier like my friends and they're all rich and good looking and stuff. But it could be worse because their 6 realms. Were in the human realm. the two realms above us is the Demi god realm and the God realm then the 3 lower realms is the animal realm, hungry ghost realm and hell realm, which has hot and cold hells. Some buddhist do believe in hells, but not heaven. And once we reach nirvana we are out of the cycle of death and rebirth.

Science doesn't prove the sky is blue. Science explains why the sky is blue. So you question is flawed but the answer is still yes.

My question is not flawed. I do not subscribe to whatever system you use to determine that.
Even so, can science explain mother love?

Mother love is an instinct that can be explained in scientific terms.
Quote:
Instinct is a phenomenon that can be investigated from a multitude of angles: genetics, limbic system, nervous pathways, and environment. There are levels of instincts from molecular to groups of individuals that can be studied as well. Extremely specialized systems have evolved to create individuals who exhibit behaviors without learning them. Innate behavior is an important and interesting aspect of the biological world that people come into contact with every day.

My mother hated me like poison, but then, she was a religious nut. Epic fail!

Just going to have to tell you that most of W-P's population is not well-informed about reincarnation-research. Should you want to know if there is validity to what you feel about reincarnation then at least look to the sources that do actual examination of potential evidence for reincarnation.

Some other recommended readings:
"You Cannot Die: The Incredible Findings of a Century of Research on Death" -Ian Currie
"Thirty Years Among the Dead" -Dr. Carl Wickland
"The Testament of Truth" -Terence Malaher

Just to name a few. Expand your insight beyond the Buddhist-Tree.
A whole entire forest still awaits to satiate the hunger of your "Spiritual-Knowledge" ...

Forced virginity sucks.

Confused . So you're suggesting here that you are a virgin , yet days ago you said that you'd only has sex once in your life , days before that you were relating the time you unsuccessfully tried to insert your appendage in a young asian's back passage ... and yet despite all your stories of sexually charged encounters with prostitutes and gay homeless guys suddenly you're telling the world that you're a virgin ..

<<< He's wondering if your vivid imagination is clouding your take on reality .. :)

Even if the Main-Stream ever accepted any of it as evidence...

...I would still be able to "de-bunk" it by saying that it was Quantum-Level Nano-Technology Alien Implant-Devices that simply had all of its records/memories transferred from one previous biological-host into the next biological-host. Kind of like removing the HDD of a computer and moving it into another chassis. The "body" may look different but the "programming" remains the same due to the HDD-transfer. The QLNTAID being like a micro-electro-magnetic HDD to one's physical-body being transferred into yet another physical-body which can give the appearance that the next individual is a reincarnation.

I am only providing the references as something like "food" for the mind to absorb.
You are free to reject it as having any use or benefit to your mind of course.
Always good to always question everything in order to avoid rigid belief-systems.

Do you question the Earth revolving around the Sun. Some things just no longer deserve equal time

I think maybe the following comment belongs in a different thread but it has some relevance to some comments posted here.
Why do Christians so often refer to people being in heaven when as I understand it the Bible says nobody gets up and out of being dust until Jesus comes the second time. Did I miss something?

Even if our memories survive our death, how would we access them? Or who would access them? We wouldn't have a brain to recall any memory. Are you implying that we're able to somehow extract the memories of Mozart and Washington from somewhere and view them like a video/audio file?

The ability to store and recall memories is just an evolutionary advantage that allowed us to remember what caused pleasure and what caused pain, so that we may avoid unpleasant stimuli, which aided our survival.
