Actually he was banned from the AS forums for insulting others, including AS supporters. I don't think he likes them too well.

I did admit to Gwenevyn in my pm that some of us were enjoying baiting him but I was worried he might slip from our grasp into the Haven and seriously upset someone. He had nothing positive to contribute here.

Guess I'm a marked woman now.

Naaaaah. I could see that most of the people here were emotionally invested in his posts. It's for the best he was banned.

John Best is (or was?) involved with Generation Rescue, a group hellbent on "proving" that autism is equal to mercury poisoning caused by vaccines.

So yeah. He's a looney. Most NT parents think he's a moron. Even those who are anti-vaccine think he's a moron.

Oh. And if you look back on his own blog (the Hating Autism one), you'll find out his son was normal (as in, very little stimming, but non-verbal) until they started chelation. Now his son is biting people left and right.

Go figure.

Odd that he would be so set in his beliefs then.

why does this guy even matter? By being concerned with him you're just giving him what he wants (attention). He's just some troll on their bulletin board. Let them deal with it themselves.

Very hard to do when one has personally been the victim of some of his more vicious taunts, guys.

Ask Autism Diva, Kev Leitch or any others if they think he's not worth worrying about. I rather think a person who tries to use your child's name against you is rather more dangerous than you think.

But it's good to know he's been banned. What's the bet there will be a post on his blog about Wrong Planet within the next day or so?

i know what u mean. i dont like seeing bullies get away with it either. but OTOH attention seeking is a major recreation for him an he obviously gets a kick out of it...

Incidentally, for those who are interested on Autism Speaks - I have information that says Best is actually "Sammy". So he's there, lurking.
