Aspie: 109 out of 200
NT: 122 out of 200
"You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits"

ETA: Darn, I wish I'd posted my graph like others are doing! I had quite a neat shape evenly covering both the AS and NT spheres, with a slight spike in the NT social skills section (I wonder if that's the result of my mother hassling me to no end about my social skills as I was growing up?) It looks like I literally have a half autistic brain and half NT brain, if that's even possible!

Second time doing this test. Now it's been a while and I've been more observant, so the results differ.

edit: I noticed that I left a few questions unanswered so this score is 2 points higher than the other.

Last time I took this it was higher. My most recent score on the Wired AQ test was 33. I've also had higher scores on that before, too. I seem to get higher scores when under more stress or when somehow confused.

My personal favorite question was whether I think about peeling flakes off myself and others. I didn't used to think about this, but I do now. 8)

See, now to me, that was an odd and silly question. I never see flakes of skin on people or myself, period. If my skin were dry and flaking then I would feel an impulse to peel it off, and might feel likewise for others, but that never happens.

It's still really strange to see a list of seemingly random characteristics that I have all in one place. Each characteristic by itself doesn't seem like a big deal, you could say everyone has a few quirks -- but somehow there are so many people with similar groups of characteristics/habits that don't always seem related, it's so weird to see it sometimes lol

I have no idea how to read this.

This test was completed in the beginning only once, when I was bound to take as many tests as I could.

Your Aspie score: 102 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 91 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

My least Aspie areas are Communication and Hunting, according to the diagram. I wonder what this later means. Also, in practice, my least fortunate area is communication, I'm sure.

That is EXACTLY how I was feeling as I was going through the quiz. It was... like all my searching through quizzes and various psychological things and whatnot... and here it is, with all in one. Well, with a few exceptions.

Your Aspie score: 160 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 50 of 200

Does anyone ever read these quizzes for intelligibility?! This stuff is flaming nuts.

"small sounds that others don't seem to use" - huh? I mumbled "whiskey foxtrot tango" a lot while reading these questions, does that count?

"when you are tired, frustrated or when you act naturally" - huh?

"periods of contemplation" - huh? isn't that just for women, and monks?

"need to regenerate alone" - huh? Maybe the lizard is shedding his tail, this is the end of man's long union with earth.

"people stamp their foot in the floor" - huh?

"take messages on the telephone" - I usually use a pad of paper

"Do you have problems filling out forms?" - if I did, would this test be valid since it is a form?

"Do you fiddle with things?" - huh?

"peel flakes off yourself" - wtf?

"Do you enjoy walking on your toes?" - wtf?

"Do you have an interest for the current fashions?" - huh?

"Have you been fascinated about making traps?" - wtf?

"Do you sometimes have an urge to jump over things?" - wtf? Jack be nimble, Jack be quick...

"Do you suddenly feel distracted by distant sounds?" - as in while I am reading the question? I think they mean "distracted by sudden, distant sounds" but I still don't get it - do they mean artillery? Depends on whether I'm in front or behind it, I guess.

"Do you have trouble reading clocks?" - what has four legs and ticks? a walking clock! what are they asking? old analogue clocks? yes, I haven't seen one in a decade or more, but wtf does that have to do with anything? I don't use roman numerals much, either. If you have trouble reading digital clocks, you just have trouble period.

"Do you find it hard to recognise phone numbers when said in a different way?" - wtf? Who says phone numbers in a different way? Like 555-1234 as "five hundred fifty five minus one thousand two hundred thirty four"? Who wouldn't be confused?

"Do you have an alternative view of what is attractive in the opposite sex?" Depends on what "in" means. Are they asking do I have unusual tastes in women, or do I not know what women find attractive?

Seriously, these tests are so poorly written I can't make sense out of a lot of the questions. Does anyone else find them gonzo?

A few of them are worded so oddly that one could reasonably be confused about how to parse them, but some of the ones you mention above seem pretty straightforward - to the point that I have a difficult time believing you are actually having a hard time understanding the question. I think (I may be wrong!) you mean to say, for some of them, that you don't see how they could be relevant to an AS questionnaire. Examples:

"Do you fiddle with things?" - huh?
"peel flakes off yourself" - wtf?
"Do you enjoy walking on your toes?" - wtf?
"Do you have an interest for the current fashions?" - huh?

For these, I get the impression that you want to be told why they belong - which essentially means having them explain which answer is most indicative of an ASD. If you think about it for a minute, you can see how giving that information in the test would affect the results - those who want to get/avoid an "Aspie-ish" score could easily manipulate their answers to get the result they wanted.

I took both an Aspie test and an AQ test (results below) both of which pointed towards that fact that I must have AS or at least an ASD...BUT I also took a Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) and I got 'sever social anxiety' so I'm now VERY confused, because I don't know which I might have, because it is possible for you to have AS/ASD and SAD isn't it?

Really confused.........
