I know it hasn't been added to the rules yet, but if someone is asking for money (v. just whinny), report it to the mods. It was decided after the last incident that it wasn't cool to allow it.

I'm not sure if posting the personal info is kosher, though. What if, just if, you guys are wrong?

Oh, heck, its all over my head at this point. I do sympathy and patience; not much else.

Which, I might add, I'll always do. Without the technical know how to verify things, I choose to err on the side of caution, to assume I've got someone in need. Because otherwise I would have cut off many people I now adore long ago, and there are quite a few members here that have benefited from that approach, and know they have. I would rather be taken in a few times than cut off someone I should not have cut off.

I hope someone reports this guy because who knows how many other people he has scammed out of money.

I feel like the biggest moron in the world for even BELIEVING (not being CERTAIN mind you) this guy was sincere. Such is the extent of the harm that sociopaths do to us all. They breed distrust in society to the point where no one wants to help even those who are truly and desperately in need of it. Yes, ASS-P is Walter Lilly, he said so in one of the pages in the "I'm homeless" thread.

As for posting his details online, I wouldn't do that.

I think those details should be taken down.

So I ran a background check on him via beenverified.com there was only two listings for Walter L Lilly and both were 50 and living in San Francisco.

He's a fraud for sure - there's no denying it.

However, I don't think we should harass him for being a creep. I'll be reporting his activity to the police and let them take it from there.

He has it as Allston Street instead. And 97404 is Eugene, Oregon

However, if we are right and this guy is the scam artist he seems to be, it's really sickeningly sad that someone would ask for money from disabled people.
