The problem is there is 493 posts with the precise term "whore" in them and only 81 of them are in the Adult forum. (188 and 33 for "whores")

I was the first person to read the OP and could have deleted before anyone saw it but decided it does not rise to the level that it needs to be deleted.

I think those who labeled the OP as trollish should have not replied to this thread because all they were doing is feeding a troll if they think he is one. And those who wanted to give the poster the benfit of the doubt should have only posted. If we all do that in future we will have less problems from posts like the OP.

Reasons I believe this to be a likely troll:

10 posts
8 in this thread
1 in the Haven (-10 in -10 to 10 scale. More on that in a second. Not a lot can be assumed from this in either direction...as there was no indication as to why that number was given in the thread.)
1 in thread on one of the online AS "tests."

The vast majority of them were dedicated to this thread, to attacking people. All of us have bad days. I'm sure all of us (here, or otherwise) have lashed out at people at times, and at times inappropriately. Sure, some may not have, but I'm guessing the majority has. This seems to be focused.

More than that, I frequently noticed that this individual was lurking in the General Discussion forum. As if waiting for a response, in the hopes for another chance to "strike." Sure, that could be wrong, but at the time that's all I could come up with.

The test also indicated "both AS and NT tendencies." Sure, that doesn't mean anything. It is a scale, after all. The OP did profess to have things really bad, specifically in terms of AS. While this was but an online test, and as such not the best of methods for judging such things, it still is a bit odd to me.

The language was also very inflammatory. Needlessly so. Again, see what I said at the start, we all have bad days, but this was pretty consistent.

After saying all of this, the one post in the Haven suggested that this may not be a troll after all. The whole bad day thing again. I do find it odd that someone would come here on a bad day, read threads, then lash out, after posting so little else. Not to say it isn't possible, it simply strikes me as odd. My gut says troll, but I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again.

No...Mitch has that “right”; we can all call each other morons whether it’s true or not, but it’d be more productive to try and see where the other individual resides before thinking furtively, if it’s nowhere you like just ignore said individual. Otherwise it’s never going to end. Gee, if the whole world could see my ignorance.

Life is a sitcom. People need to have and enjoy their excitement at the expense of others.

Perhaps if he had made his points in a more clearer and far less offensive way then I might be so inclined as to grant him a fruitful response. I was simply letting him know how much his ignorance and aspie-bashing is valued here. Plus, I don't like trolls.

The original poster has brutishly swung his ill-informed words around like a club and I for one was hurt. It is common sense to watch your words when you address a large number of people simultaneously.

I’d be typing a lot
I'd be writing on myself a lot
and I don't think I'd be any closer to understanding either side
so I’ll just go and hide
and take the fallout in stride

Hey -- just because he's saying something bad, doesn't mean it's okay to insult people with low IQs. There are plenty of people on here with possibly lower IQ scores than this guy who don't run around being obnoxious.

I like this Daniel person more and more each post.

I admit that I seek attention. I'm an extrovert. But then again, I didn't know that there was a need to deny it or some kind of special criteria to look up to as an aspie.

To me, that's the worst aspect of AS...the struggle to decipher social code. It seems like the rules keep changing arbitrarily.

Social "norms" have no logical rhythm to me. I can't seem to figure out their pattern, hence no pattern recognition.

In a way, that makes THEM smarter! Some GENIUSES have said something along the line of "The more I learn, the more I realize that I don't know that much.". The OP acted like he knew so much and insulted so many. Heck, some people may be dumber and enjoy their life moe while trying to better themselves and work within their area of knowledge, etc....
