I've got three kids in the spectrum so I took the tests figuring that I'd probably come out with some Aspie tendancies. Nope, no sign of them.

AQ-5
EQ-72 Extreme Empathizer
SQ-33
HSP-16
Reading Eye thingy-26
Facial Rec.-64 of 72
Aspie Score: 35 of 200
Neurotypical (sounds so boring, doesn't it?) 174 out of 200
EIQ- Subscale IQ 132 Percentile 98

That's not what I expected at all.

I think self tests are highly unreliable. I had the same experience as you had. I done some tests to rule out autism spectrum. And I was quite shocked to see the results still I am not convinced I have something in the spectrum, although I may not be entirely Neurotypical

It seems like you are disappointed by the outcome and that is something I find hard to understand. I think its good to be able to Empathize, and I would love to be able to read eyes like you seem to do. It would help being more social.

I'm not really disappointed, just surprised. I thought parents of Aspies or people with ASDs were supposed to tend to have more Aspie/ASD like tendencies. All my children are in the spectrum, so I figured with a batting average like that I'd at least be near the border on one or two things. Their bio-dad has BPD, maybe that's the connection. Maybe he's the "carrier" not me. I'm not disappointed because I like myself the way I am, just thinking it's odd.

EQ/SQ: 20, 42 - Extreme Systemizing

Reading the mind in the eyes: 30

Aspie quiz: Aspie score: 118 of 200, neurotypical score: 105 of 200

Face memory test: 74%

HSP test: 14

AQ test: 30

Hmm... maybe I don´t have AS, maybe I do. It seems I have a perpetually difficult time fitting in anywhere!

Autistic/BAP
You scored 127 aloof (93 percentile), 109 rigid (73 percentile) and 118 pragmatic (93 percentile)

AQ - 39 (did that test a while back)
As a child, i think i'd have scored higher....

EQ test 12
SQ test 103

HSP test 9
Though a lot of the questions made me think the words "Heh, I've learned to ignore that kinda stuff" or the like, others i wished there was a scale, as opposed to yes/no.

Reading the mind in the eyes... 23 ... Though, in most i had to actually think about the emotion, and look at the eyes for each possible answer, few just came to me. I'm shocked how high i scored on this one though. Might be an indication that i just lack confidence in reading eyes, and as I never look people in the eyes, i don't get much practice, so it doesn't just naturally flow.

Face Memory: 64%

Aspie Quiz:
Your Aspie score: 150 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 57 of 200
You are very likely an Aspie

Wonder if I should seek a diagnosis... Then again, not really sure what difference it would make one way or another...

scored
Aspie 149 out of 200
Neurotypical 41 out of 200

(only the face one I didn't go all the way through because it seemed pointless?...rest I scored dominantly on the aspie side)

I know these aren't concrete but definately indicates aspergers? I'm going to show this aspie test result to her and she what see says...have an appointment with her next week. Just now seeking diagnosis, as I have just begun researching aspergers or highly functioning autism within the month. Also a lady at work who I dont really know asked me if I was on the autism spectrum because her son age 6 is on it and said I behave like him.

what do you guys think- is that pretty high?

Respondent Average EQ Average SQ Brain Type
Males 39.0 61.2 Systemizing
Females 48.0 51.7 Empathizing
Your Score 9 106 Extreme Systemizing

Brain Types of Experimental Control Groups
Respondent Extreme E E Balanced S Extreme S
Males 0% 17% 31% 46% 6%
Females 7% 47% 32% 14% 0%

The important factor to consider is not your absolute score, but the difference between the two. This indicates whether you have more natural ability as an Empathizer or a Systemizer. If your scores are about the same for your EQ and SQ, then you have well balanced empathizing-systemizing capabilities.

Yikes - it says 0% of females have the systemizing score that I got :o

Come on now - females, go take the test!

Heh...I was NOT expecting the EQ/SQ results I got. I am not an Aspie, and I always hit the "F" pretty strongly on MBTI-related tests. But it scored me as average on empathizing but high on systemizing. (Something like 48/78.)

I have to think that maybe just being a geek makes the results skew that direction. ;)

The reason I don't like social stuff is because I don't like banalities. Cut to the high-level stuff...then you've got my interest. ;)

thank you so much for posting these up.
I found out about Aspies and WP because I took the AQ test on Facebook and was given a curious result.

here are the results I got to the AQ and other Quizes posted.

AQ Test score =33 (the one that started me on this journey in the first place)

Your result for The Broad Autism Phenotype Test...Autistic/BAP
You scored 107 aloof, 86 rigid and 89 pragmatic

EQ / SQ
Respondent Average EQ Average SQ Brain Type
Males 39.0 61.2 Systemizing
Females 48.0 51.7 Empathizing
Your Score 18/ 70 Extreme Systemizing

EIQ

Self-report Component
Subscale IQ score = 87
Subscale percentile = 19

the Cambridge Face Memory test:
Out of 72 faces, you correctly identified 59.
In other words, you got 82% correct.

HSP score = 12
Avg HSP = 14+

Reading the mind in the eyes' test
Your score: 32
A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30,
you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions
around their eyes. A score under 22 indicates you find this quite difficult.

Aspie Quiz
Your Aspie score: 124 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 91 of 200
You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

some of the tests I found harder to take or more accurate to me then others.
of all of them I think I enjoyed taking the The Broad Autism Phenotype Test the most.
The worst was the EQ. very uncomfortable for me. I have been trying to figure out if I am aspie or not (I suppose just taking all these scored me another aspie point. lol) and I was shocked at some of the results. I still don't know If I qualify as aspie or not. but It was fun.

In your opinion. how accurate were the tests for you? AKA If you are NT did you score mostly NT? or Aspie that scored mostly Aspie?

It says I'm BAP. I get 18 EQ and 64 SQ, Extreme Systemizing. 0% of females get that score.

...I'm not female?? That would explain a lot about my mental state and level of fitness, but I find my anatomy (especially between my legs, but also my chest) a compelling argument against this theory.
