I'm not sure about this. Some of the regular participants try to speak to anyone who seems excluded, but I'm not sure if they succeed in this. I'm also not sure if they manage to spot everyone who may feel excluded.

As long as the hyper extroverts didn't interrupt formal activities, they didn't need to be kept under control. When they did interrupt formal activities, they were told to "Shut up, be quiet, stop interrupting the speaker, let other people speak too". Sometimes it helped and sometimes it didn't. In Autistic-run environments, there are often some loud voices who talk too much.

Most of the activities were planned for people from all over the spectrum. In practice, most participants seemed relatively independent and communicative. I'm not sure how would less independent and less communicative autistics view those activities. It is an excellent question and an excellent subject to think about.

At Autscape, fragrant soaps and shampoos are OK, as long as they are not extremely fragrant. I can't remember if it is the same at Autreat.
