Steve, I always picture you in my mind as a robot with a pensive red stare. Steve, is that you?

Naw! White, mustache, balding, eyeglasses. I ALREADY said my eyes are green, and they ARE kind of grey also! Long story. I WOULD put my picture up, but I tell you guys a lot about me as it is, etc...

I spend alot of time in costume...I wear costumes in my band, I used to be a street performer when I lived in New Orleans, I was seldom out of costume. Even my normal street clothes are kinda funny.

why?
it seems like that would be a lot of work, to always dress up. i find it annoying to put on a belt.

I hate belts too...I also don't like wearing socks.
But I really really like costumes. I am a performer. I can do things in costume that I am not comfortable doing out of costume.
It is something very fun for me.

I love to wear costumes as well. Usually not too outlandish (though my red and white striped jacket generates really odd outfits). I tend to dress-up to teach classes. Last night I went out in 19th century style.

I've never liked costumes- except on Halloween that is. I don't know, they just feel weird to me. And as a little kid, I hated playing dress-up, too. I mean, do you know where those clothes have been? Well, that's what it's like for me anyway.

I REALLY hope this works......headache! Please look at my photo - I have green eyes. My academic advisor took this photo last fall.

I have green eyes as well as many people in my area. I see it all the time.

I do too, but a LOT of people don't! Frankly, I LIKE green eyes. I think I like them better than blue, though blue is my favorite color.

labpet,

At least what I can see looks cute. What, is that a dracula impersonation?

I agree, blue eyes are overrated. Unless the person has dark hair, in which case they're sexy as hell. Blonde people look best with brown or green eyes; the colors go better together.

If you have green eyes, are you allowed to not wear green on St. Patrick's Day?

I never said they were overrated. Heck, one of the strongest impressions a pair of eyes left on me were the ones on this one girl. I think we were both about 10 at the time. Her brother didn't like me, and she didn't care for me because of that. I showed her a bar of soap I carved and colored to look like a scottish terrier. She seemed impressed, smiled, and I SWEAR I thought her blue eyes lit up. She DID have dark brown hair though.

As for my green eyes? I don't know about today, etc... but, when I was younger, some young kids would pinch you if you weren't WEARING green. YEAH, I got pinched ALSO. HEY, I AM part irish. I even went to an IRISH wake for one of my uncles that died. They played IRISH music and had IRISH beer, etc... My mothers family is IRISH catholic. But they STILL pinch you if you don't wear green on st patricks day. 8-(

But HEY, FEW could probably tell you the color of my eyes. I think in school it was only mentioned a few times.

Steve
