I decided my avatar should be a face as I now feel people should associate a face with my posts instead of a giant eye.

In this pic I am sucking my lips in the way I do when I am thinking intently or nervous. I was trying to get a good shot of my eye, which is why I was doing that.

Yay! I finally got an avatar! I had to register under a new account, though. I'm nirrti rachelle instead of just plain "nirrti" but I like my new name better, anyway. My avatar is a stain-glass window with a peacock made by the artist, Louis Comfort Tiffany, who's know for his stain-glass lamp and window art work.

I chose it because the peacock reminds me to take pride in myself, something I've been working on this past year. I also love art and thought this was one of Tiffany's most beautiful stain-glass pieces.

I like "why try to fit in when you are born to stand out". It fits better in the space, is more optomistic, and suits an AS forum!
