32... but that test isn't very good. As has been noted, it is vague and actually combines things that to my mind anyway are very different. Such as noticing small changes in people's appearance or the environment. Duh, dope heads, Aspies don't look at people much... so I don't notice hair cuts or different make-up or eye color. But move a book, get a new lamp, I notice, I definitely might notice that. So how do you answer that question?

And theater... are we talking movie theater or a live performance? What's the movie? Period drama (my fave) or gruesome horror flick (No way, Jose).

Here's a real Aspie question... Would you rather go to the mall or the museum?

If there's a new lamp in the room, do you say anything? Express your unsolicited opinion about it? Can't hardly carry on a conversation for looking at it?

I suspect extroverted Aspies will score lower on this test, too, without that meaning they're less autistic. And highly introverted NTs will score higher without it meaning they're autistic. Would you rather do things with people or alone? That's an introvert/extrovert question, to me.

I scored 26 even with being an introvert.

I think this test will give a false negative for having an ASD in some cases. I don't like it.

Extroverts will score artificially low as will people who are imaginative or have an intuitive/analytical thinking style. Not all aspes are introverts and not all aspies enjoy concrete factual information.

Personally I detest categories and rote memorization. I'm more of a theorist. I'm extremely lazy when it comes to remembering facts and quoting sources. I enjoy inferring things and looking for broader patterns and implications. I always want to understand the larger picture, how everything fits together. Most NT's are more black-and-white / concrete than I am. I go against the aspie stereotype of being literal minded, concrete, and full of facts/trivia. I'm the polar opposite. Pointless detail and trivia annoy me.

I just re-took it and I scored 39.

That's quite a bit higher than the last time I took it (like 4 months ago?), last time I got a 33.

Weird

Perhaps it has to do with self awareness?

Who knows, maybe.

I just re-took the aspie quiz too within the last week or two (which I originally took at the same time as this one, 4-5 months ago) and strangely my score on that one was lower for AS and higher NT than my previous one (AS 111/NT 94, versus 117/86 on the last one).

36 score. The test questions are poorly written. I crave social interaction, but get very anxious, love to chit chat, but 'suk' at it and talk the ears of the unfortunate victim until they look suicidal. lol

How many people with AS like myself would like to be social or crave it, but are terrible in their attempts. Keeping a conversation going is my achillees heel, I end up rambling disjointed information and experiences that interest me.

Taken it a few times, and consistently score 40-41.

I'd be curious to see how people score on the Empathy Quotient as well... I eked out a 6/80 8O

Me, me! An extrovert Aspie. I can't do the small talk either, but I ask questions which seem to end up feeling invasive and nosy to my poor victim... that is, unless I get launched on one of my interests.

It's really good there are over 6 million people on the planet, at the rate I run through folks willing to spend time in my baffling company!
