"Anna Molly" by Incubus... I was stuck on that one for quite a while. When I like a song, it is like a fresh piece of gum; I have to chew it until all the flavor runs out... but sometimes I keep on chewing :P

Wow that is weird as I had a similar problem with that same song !

I played it a couple of times and forgot about it THEN I heard it on the radio a couple of week later and thought " "amazing song !" and then played it to death - it is still one of my fave tracks.

For me I enjoy taking a song I love and playing it over and over again. I also enjoy performing certain songs over and over again on the organ or dulcimer, etc. There was one tape I played over and over again in the car when I was in college (I drove to Ohio University every day---1.5 hour trip one way)---it was Metropolitan Suite by Larry Fast (Synergy). I believe the tape was from around 1986, and it was performed on synthesizers.

When I first discovered Irish music, it was off of a mix tape that a friend of the family had made. I listened only to that tape, over and over again, for a solid year before seeking out more Irish music.

Then I made the mistake of buying "40 Golden Irish Melodies" from National Record Mart, thinking it would be like the stuff on this tape. I couldn't have been more wrong! Then I stumbled onto the Green Linnet record label and all was well.

I'm even worse than you guys.
I have listened to the same 15 songs by a Chinese singer Xiang Xiang for at least 3 years now. I listen to it almost every time I shower, and also when I'm studying. Her songs are very soothing, and help me concentrate. I have an on/off obsession with the songs, but I'm still miraculously not tired of any of them. Once I listen to them, I listen for hours on end.
