I suffered a lot of head injuries when I was young. Dropped on my head, head in a car door, etc.

Y'know, though, this presents a whole new opportunity for counter-auterror forces (lawlz I be so clever). I don't doubt many of you have thought of this already, but what about a book: Dealing With and Preventing Neurotypical Disorder.

I wonder if we got to be clumsy autistics by falling on our heads, or whether we fell on our heads because we were clumsy autistics?

Great book idea, Preventing Neurotypical Disorder. I hadn't thought of preventative treatment. I was thinking more along the lines of Living with Neurotypical Disorder (one of the earlier topics which I abandoned because what started in good humour ended up in one of those nasty us-versus-them WP fights...)

I only fell on my head once, and that was not related to clumsiness.

What happened was this: My sisters and I would go along with my dad to clean our local church (he had decided to start a janitorial service, but he really only had one regular client). Someone had decided to mop the hallway leading out of the Sunday School shortly before we left. I came up with the theory that the more time you spend walking on a wet floor, the more likely you are to slip. Hence, the answer was obvious: In order to not slip on a wet floor, one must run.

...It didn't turn out so well.

You're brilliant. I've now laughed to the point of tears. I used to call this kind of thinking "women's logic", but I must have been biased. Men can be just as clever. :D

Why should we prevent Autism? I can see many problems with giving people that kind of power.
