When I get stressed my short term memory gets really bad, often to the point where I'll be asking where the remote is and it'll be in my own hand.
That is right where I am at.
Your stressed? Well, I'm not stressed at the moment but my memory still seems really bad. Yesterday I was looking for my mobile phone and it was on the table, but I looked on the table twice and never saw it...ok so maybe my memory isn't bad but I have 'selective vision'.
If the picture in my mind, is of the cell phone sitting on a certain surface(say a dark colored counter), and it is actually sitting on a different surface( light colored table) I would not see it even if I was looking right at it, because that is not what my mind remembers it to look like. I do that all of the time, even when there is no major stress. Do you have a photographic memory?
