I love teaching but would only do it at the undergraduate level. I can't stand little kids... although mysteriously they love me and always seem to want to hang around me!

Yes I like teaching adults. I'm not so good with children, though.

I love teaching... though my subject is music, my goal is always to teach my students how they learn as individuals. Once they are engaged and developed at learning on their own, then my job is markedly easier and more fun, and their education from me now carries over into their other subjects and later life. Two of my students now teach themselves; I think I've been successful as a teacher.

Yes! I taught college for a year and frequently do presentations.

Yes, very much so. I hope to become a professor someday. Really, the only time I like being around people is when I get to teach them. I love being able to explain subjects that are my special interest, and I like to try and get people to see the excitement and wonder in those subjects. I'm a very iimpatient person, but surprisingly, I'm very patient while explaining something, because I understand how frustrating it is to not get something, since I have Nonverbal Learning Disorder. Plus, I really like for somebody to understand what I mean, so I'll keep trying until I find a way for them to get it. All throughout middle and high school, all of the kids would always ask me to help them before tests. I was a TA in college. I just never realized until a year or so ago that I'm just a natural teacher, and that I can make a career out of it.

I don't particularly enjoy teaching.
Having all eyes on me *shudders*

I remember in highschool, we'd have to teach P.E. (to get points to pass the grade, without them you couldn't go to the next year) and I was horrible at it. I didn't know what to say to get the group together or how to make it sound like I meant it etc. It was a disaster.

Apart from that, I'm really bad at explaining things.
e.g. One time I had to teach English to people a couple years below me and I couldn't.. 'cause, with English, I don't cling on to grammar as much, so I don't know how to explain it to others as it just comes natural to me.

I like teaching very much, it's an energy that takes me over
But i don't like it when the pupils are not interested in the subject, then too much energy must be put in 'motivating them to only just listen'
I'm not a natural entertainer, i'm only good at my subjects and can make it interesting but not a point that I can convince someone to listen every 5 minutes if s/he decided to be against it anyway. (even thought I'm learning and seem to do better)
