I've heard about this "Aspie look"...from what I understand it's a sort of stoned/glazed daydreamy sort of thing. I think I have something: I have big eyes with prominent pupils, so I tend to look very innocent and timid...adapting to the world rather than in a world of my own.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

Even tho I smoke pot, I always had a druggy apearance. In school i was mistaken for a junkie. I think my posture also contributes to this.

Okay people. Do i have "aspie eyes" or normal eyes? Pic is from over a year ago, but it shows my eyes okay without a fake "you need to smile for the camera!" smile or anything. And, i'm the one without scales, by the way.

I dunno, I've never thought about this. I'll have to ask some of my friends.

Also, every time I see the title of this thread I get "Bette Davis Eyes" stuck in my head. Thanks a lot. :P

I'm glad that I wear glasses to cover up my eyes. I have bags under them from stress and lack of sleep. I am going to get myself some sunglasses. I can look at people better, without having to have that horrible eyecontact thing going.

I have even found myself staring into a mirror at my eyes trying to figure out who is in there....

My partner teases (I think) that one of the reasons he likes me is cuz I look like an axe murderer.

By the way, it's not the demented Shining eyes in my avatar. That's a very unusual picture of me. It's the flat unreadable eyes that could conceal anything. Glasses (photo-grey) are great at masking the eyes as well as cutting the glare. I wear contacts playing rugby, but at least it's a winter sport so it's not too bright out.

My partner has wonderfully expressive eyes, though most of the time I don't know what they are expressing. It's like a carnival show of activity with no discernible purpose, but I like to watch the show.
