Guilty as charged.

Kinder Surprises was another one for a long time.
Some might include games like KOL, Pokemon, and Age of Empires as childish I guess.

Perfectly understandable, especially Danger Mouse.

Wow I'm so glad you posted this poopylungstuffing. I feel like a freak sometimes even compared to other Aspies because my obsessions are really childish. My family is really sick of seeing Harry Potter videos (ha-ha). That is my big one right now! I am also obsessed children’s books. I want to write one some day. I've started writing a few, but have never finished one. I read a lot of children’s books to get ideas, and also because I just like reading them. I also play the nightmare before Christmas soundtrack incessantly. I'm obsessed with Tim Burton animated movies.

Also I used to love puppets! I worked in a daycare center, and the absolute best way I found to cheer up distressed infants was to show them hand puppets, and have them (the puppets) sing little songs and make sounds. Then I started getting really in to puppets, making up puppet shows with really elaborate plots. The other ladies I worked with thought I was insane, but the kids really liked me. Puppets are awesome. =>

Thomas the Tank Engine!! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !!

I love Edward, he is such a good engine! I love riding on the trains on the way to the footy (my major super obsession that invades my every thought-GO BRISBANE LIONS) and to a lesser extent the WWE is an obsession.

Oh, and balloonies. I like balloons and bubbles.

Bubbles bubbles bubbles..............

Once I move into a house, I'm planning on getting back into model trains like I did when I was young, but more high-tech (say, Internet controllable, webcams, etc). I have to bring some amount of 'maturity' into it :)

My wife is even interested in the artistic aspects of it so thankfully I won't be alone in this project.

I think more people would be into more child-like activities well into adult-hood if they didn't feel the pressure from society to 'grow up'. I can assume we all think different enough to not care as much about those perspectives. There is no reason age should limit you from doing things that make you feel happy/accomplished.

I'm am (and was) interested in Anime (including childish ones like Pokemon and Digimon), and various children's TV shows (i.e. Avatar, Ben 10, Magic School Bus), movies, and books.
I read childrens books and watch shows on the Children's Channel.
Also Harry Potter, though I'm not sure if it counts as childish...

I have a collection of over 300 stuffed animals/plushies. They're on a bookcase in my room. I sleep with some of them, and I HAVE to take with me at least one if i'm going on a overnight trip.

I forgot to mention how much I love "Pinky and the Brain" and "Danger Mouse." Not exactly obsessions, but we get the episodes from Netflix often, and I really like them. Probably a lot more that the average 42-year-old woman, I suppose. Narf!!

I love Pinky and the Brain. In fact, in the past, when it was on regularly, I made up excuses about why I couldn't go somewhere when really it was so I could stay home and watch Pinky and the Brain. But, really, all of my child hood obsessions have never left me and are still obsessions today. Mostly reading, writing, painting, and collecting things.

Battlestar Galactica -- the original one. Various comics series from time to time, especially Batman and Teen Titans. I loved watching the Batman cartoons that came on when my daughter was little. She didn't like them as much and would get mad when I co-opted the TV during cartoon-time. We had to work out deals where I would watch hers if she'd let me watch mine. I still like Pinky and the Brain, too.

I'm not sure Harry Potter really counts as childish. There are way too many adults at those openings. They can't all be aspies!

Lego will never stop being awesome :).

None fo my obsessions are very 'childish' or even child oriented but I do still enjoy some children's literature (especially A.A. Milne's stories and poems- Milne has a very sly sense of humor that I didn't pick up on until I was an adult).

Toys--mostly action figures

Vintage Cartoons/Kid's Shows

Classic sitcoms

Cultural history in general; I can even get in full conversations with you about Texaco Star Theater, General Electric Presents, and Mary Kay & Johnny...3 of the earliest TV shows ever in existence.

It's not a totally childlike thing to be obsessed with, I guess, but usually it's an obsession for either a little girl or a dancer. Not a 25-year-old with little coordination.

Have you seen the (1948) film the Red Shoes? It features a wonderful ballet that combines classical and modern ballet with visuals inspired by surrealism. You can see a clip below.

It doesn't seem like a strange obsession to me, but an excellent way to stay flexible as well as gain more grace and poise.

I love Lego but don't have time for it right now. I used to use Lego pencil cups, inbox trays, business card holders, and office organizers that I made with Lego on my desk.

When I was a child, I was given a small, cotton cloth (not plush) flat 2D stuffed brown beagle dog with large, serious sad eyes as a stuffed animal. Whenever I see a copy of the stuffed animal at a garage sale I have to buy it to use as an extra neck pillow for lounging the way I did as a kid until I wear it out.

I remember the Texaco Star Theater as a radio show when I was very small. My Dad and I used to listen to it together. It came on about 9 pm. I can still hear the announcer's voice: "Brought to you by the Texaco Star Theater."

Doctor Who. Just the way it was when I was a kid. I have a very hard time not buying the action figures...

Also, those old American serials they used to show on the BBC during the school holidays - Flash Gordon, Undersea Kingdom, King of the Rocket Men, that kind of thing.
