I had to say yes because I have Tourettes and it makes me spit at stuff! I'd totally spit on food... yuck. That's why I don't plan to get a job in the food industry any time soon!

Holy Cow, Jellybean. That must be a b***h. If me and hartzofspace get our anti-spitting law passed we will have to make sure there is a clause in there to make Touretters exempt from the fine.

I think keeping a job is a bit more important than pride, and I don't think that spitting in someone's food would help pride in any any way either. And I think the example you gave is a bit extreme, in that case I would be more likely to grab one of the chefs knives and stab them in the throat with it.

 Thanks! Trouble is, make something against the rules and the Tourettes wants to do it more! Doesn't happen too often... yet...

Wow.. it's kind of comforting to see that almost nobody would. XD;;; Not that I'm ever rude to servers, but it's still nice to know it's fewer people than I thought.
Personally, I would, but only if someone were to be really outrageously rude. Which probably means pretty much never, because I've never seen anyone act that bad to a server.

Ive never worked in the food industry, and I dont think I would do anything like that. But, once I had a friend who made the stupid mistake of hooking up with her male house mate, who dumped her after a week. She ended up in the uncomfortable situation of having to live with this guy, so she looked for a new place and found one immediately. She had 10 days left to live with him.

I think about 2 days before she was moving out he started bringing this young, blonde girl to the flat, and, well, they werent very quiet. He could have waited until she had moved out. We were both sitting in the lounge and we could, well, hear them, and she was really upset, and I was so angry. I will just say she did a lot of things to his possessions that were downstairs, and it was basically my idea, with me suggesting things and her performing them...

She couldnt stay in the flat with him and had to mostly crash at my parents house with me for the last week, and then I stayed with her for her last two nights. What he did was pretty cruel, dumping someone and then flaunting his new partner in their face.

Does that make me bad? Probably. But what is wrong with a little revenge?

I have always felt that roommates should be same sex, because it is just too intimate, living with someone of the opposite sex. It is constantly suggesting all kinds of possibilities.

Absolutely not! What an as*hole that guy was. I think that he richly deserved it!

Thanks :) . You would be surprised though. One person told my friend that we had behaved immaturely. Im not for all-out revenge, I think it is rare to find the situation that asks for it, I can be quite understanding and forgiving, but this guy had crossed that line!

True, though I sort of prefer male flatmates, I get on better with males, they are more direct. Ive had some nice female housemates though.

A female friend of mine had a female roommate. My friend got married, and the roommate needed to find a replacement. She advertised, and a guy responded, so she accepted him. About 2 months later, my friend went back to the apartment to pick up some things that she'd left behind, and the place hadn't been cleaned in all that time. In front of the television set, was what looked like a nest made of blankets, as if the two of them had been bedding down there.
