I guess there's bound to be a good reason not to share... I've just never been the type of person who has much of an expectation (even a concept) of privacy. I know enough to prevent identity theft but beyond that, I don't know my anything I say or do needs to be private. I've always hoped that my thoughts were "pure" enough to be accepted - and I'm always happy to be shown the correct answers when I'm proven wrong.
Because I'm mostly deaf, I can't hear anyone creeping up on me - hence, if I'm talking about someone I won't hear their approach and I won't hear the whispered warnings of others. Similarly, I don't hear people approach me from behind, so I'm not fast enough to engage my screen saver before someone enters my office. Whatever I'm doing is exposed to the world.
Somewhere I gave up privacy... now, I just keep on doing what I was doing or saying what I was saying. People around me know that they get the true and "raw" me. I don't hide my feelings but I don't harbour grudges either. I might say that someone's an idiot... and I might mean it at the time... but the label only sticks for about 10 minutes.
