there was a time when I did not want to see what was looking back at me, so I covered all of the mirrors in the house. My my was so patient with me through this.

I never really noticed the mirror as anything other than a utility device until I looked in the mirror while "under the influence". Ironically, most NT freak out looking in the mirror on certain chemical trips, but I just can't stop staring at mirrors in the same circumstance.

I don't know how to explain it... It is like looking at history, and seeing centuries of oneself.

I do, but not on a super frequent basis. I also try to avoid it due to self-esteem issues.
Also, when I do look in the mirror I find I examine myself extremely closely. I'll practice smiling and I tend to zone out while gazing at myself. I'll get really close and look at my eyes from different angles, things of that nature.

I do, but I don't like what I see.

What a bizarre question. Of course I look in the mirror. I don't really primp or anything, but I do know what I look like.

I don't like to unless I have to because I'm scared of mirrors.

I only have one wall mirror, and it's in a position where you don't have to walk past it to get anywhere else so only have to look in it if you choose to.

I have a mirror in my bathroom, a while back I actually looked in it, and was surprised at how I looked, I got a good look at myself then and it hasn't happened again, but I really don't pay attention to mirrors, even though I see them on a daily basis

I look into mirrors for many different reasons, while shaving to see area's I may have missed, without my shirt on to check if my body-fat percentage has lowered or heightened and more muscle volume and definition has taken place, to see if I look decent after getting dressed, ect.

My relationship with the mirror is a bit bizzare. I don't spend a lot of time looking at myself in the mirror, but when I do, it's usually to assure myself that I really do exist. If I shut my eyes and try to see myself in my mind's eye it's never a constant or predictable self image. It's almost as if I don't really have a self image so when I see my reflection in a mirror I am usually very surprised at what I look like and I wonder if in reality I look that way at all, or if other people see me as I see myself. It's all very strange. Sometimes I look okay, I am happy with what I see, other times I hate the way I look and become depressed. I realize that it is not possible for such a disparity to actually exist, for physical matter to re-group and rearrange itself so drastically in short intervals, so I conclude that my physical appearance is a real mystery.

I'm used to looking at myself at mirrors.

it is all "back to front" in a mirror.
i like to see myself because then i can be sure i am not imagining my existence. but am i imagining the mirror?

Yes I look in the mirror a lot. I used to obsess over fixing my hair. I don't even know how many times I would do it. Probably anywhere between 25-50 times a day. I would get stuck in reflective surfaces and forget what I was doing. I would walk away after I was done fixing my hair and then walk right back 20 seconds later. I used to fix my hair with gel before I went to bed! My dad made fun of me a lot for that one. It's all gotten better now. I still can't leave the house without fixing my hair though. If I do, I get really really really anxious.

I do... a lot. I'm mostly watching my face to see if anything neat will happen, like a new facial expression or strange smile. Then I watch it forever until I can figured out what it is. I usually don't figure it out though. That's probably why I'm looking so damn long.

I look in actual mirrors, but I hate seeing my reflection in dark windows, the glass in picture frames, etc. because it looks like I have no eyes. It's creepy.

I don't have any problem looking in the mirror when I am at home in the privacy of my bedroom or bathroom, but I hate to catch sight of myself in a mirror when I am out in public. I seem to look quite differnt then and feel very uncomfortable and very self-conscious. Perhaps it is because I am then seeing myself as the outside world sees me, but out in public I think I look weird and really out of place in relation to other people. When I am around other people I always avoid sitting near a mirror or anywhere where I can see my reflection. For me though, I think it is more of a self-esteem/self-image issue rather than just being part of my AS.

Reluctantly, because that amount of ugly hurts to see.
