I don't like jeans much, especially if they're tight. Wearing a pair of jeans is like wearing a suit of armour; clunky, restricting and downright uncomfortable.

I also don't like wearing anything that comes right up to the neck for much the same reason.

I don't like wearing jeans but I wear them anyway. I sacrifice comfort because my ass looks really good in jeans. I hate wool. I used to fight with my parents sooooo much when they would try to make me wear a wool sweater. Somebody mentioned underarmor on this thread...I will never ever ever wear another underarmor shirt. I hate the material and the way it is so form fitting. It's not just that brand specifically it's any shirt that is synthetic and tight. It feels like I'm being molested by the shirt all day long.

Cotton shirts that are tight are fine, even good actually. A lot of you mentioned you hate turtlenecks. I love turtlenecks for some reason. When I was freshman in high school, I got made fun of a lot because I wore turtleneck sweaters almost every day.

Yep, count me among the can't stand sewn-in tags crowd.
Tight necks. Corduroy pants. Wool.
Any jeans other than "carpenter" style.

Shorts. I only have 2 pairs and those are for the beach mostly otherwise jeans/tshirt. I have TWO presentable "Women type" curvy shirts but mostly basic tshirt and jeans don't care if it's 90+ degrees or 60 below (in FL it doesn't get too cold LOL!) I also hate the feeling of patch stuff sewed onto shirts they itch my skin.

I'm glad I'm not the only person that thinks jeans are uncomfortable. Most people tell me they think jeans are really comfortable. I prefer long skirts and dresses.

Tags against my neck! Gah!

Dress shirts. They just puff up and hang off me. Whoever thought these were a good idea?

Ties! WTF is the point of those things?

Not a big fan of suits. I have one and use it for just three occasions: weddings, funerals, job interviews. And ties! Seriously WTS is that???

Shiny square-toe dress shoes - aparently designed to be as uncomfortable as possible. (But damn do they look sharp on the sales floor or what!! !! !! ! )

It all comes down to the same thing all of us here already know: society is stupid. They do stupid things because other people do stupid things.

I hate anything tight or synthetic. Loose and natural fibers suite me, or nude if I can get away with it, especially when it's hot. High necks except if I am wearing wool over the top, I want to be well covered and warm then. Low cut pants, not too high either. Jeans are just not made for my kind of shape, too loose in some places restrictive in others. Not that warm and not that cool either Blah ..............But I do like the look of them on some people (well men with a nice behind, who would more than likely look good in anythng or nothing LOL) tags on the back of the neck or low on the spine. Lace and underwires on underwear or close to the skin.

In winter I love thick cotton track pants, nice warm and longish tops, sometimes with hoods to keep the back of my neck warm. (I always have short hair) thick socks and Ugh (Ugly)boots. I don't go out like this though. I hate having cold feet or seeing anyone else with exposed feet when it is cold.In summer I love longish loose flowing cotton dresses, with no sleaves. (I cannot stand being hot or breaking a sweat)If I didn't have such sensitive feet I would go bare foot in summer but wear very comfortable spongy sandals or slip ons instead.

I love crisp good quality cotton or linen button up shirts, with no darts or shaping to them(involves alot of irioning But I like irioning). I don't do the whole fashion for fashions sake thing. I prefer to wear things because they are comfortable and they suit me, not just because they are fashionable.

I have a thing for things that match or atleast contrast in some way too.

Cheers

Basically anything that binds or pulls. Mass produced clothing only works for people who happen to be shaped like some industry standard ideal, and have no sensory issues.

I tend to gain my extra weight around the middle, which apparently is not where women are "supposed" to, so if I get a bigger size, it's baggy in the legs, but still cuts off my circulation around the waist. I have boobs, which, according to clothing manufacturers, shouldn't be there.

Shoes are a problem, but luckily we live in a decade in which there are plenty of comfortable shoes. When I was a young adult, there was zero option for comfortable shoes for women.

Hey, has anyone here had the wonderful experience of wearing pantyhose that are too small? You haven't lived until you've walked from the Union Street BART station to the War Memorial Opera House while wearing pantyhose that are a size too small. They actually come down as you walk, and there is nothing you can do. No one can tell, because you're wearing a long skirt, but YOU can feel it. There you all, all gussied up, going to the ballet, and your pantyhose are falling down as you walk, and there are people EVERYWHERE, so you can't just hike them up.

Really classy, that.

I hate anything that fits too closely 'round my neck.

But I like to wear ties, and can simply loosen them. There is no reason for them but mere tradition. Suits handy because you can simply look up the etiquette regarding them and thus know what social message you are conveying. I am aware that some sort of clothing culture exists, attributing all sorts of things to different styles of jeans and hoodies and whatnot, but I cannot decipher it.

BRAS! I hate them! The hurt my chest and make my back itch. They are instruments of the devil! I normally don't wear them and really like the thought that femilists of earlier times burned them.

I also hate anything too close around my neck.

i hate most things that are NOT made of BLACK COTTON - the colour of clothes is also important, unless this is swimming costume or pyjama.. i can't wear anything bright - it just DOESN'T feel right on my skin. in fact i hardly ever wear something of different colour than black (red or purple is sometimes accepted).. the rule doesn't apply to my jewellery or other accessories - the colour doesn't matter here.

i don't like clothes that are too loose. in general i hate the kind of clothes that many people wear after coming home - you know, some old, loose, dirty clothes.. yuck..

all kinds of things you wear on your feet - I HATE THEM!! i'm the happiest person in the world when i don't have to wear any shoes, any socks, and the most important - NO SLIPPERS! but wait, there is some kind of shoes i like wearing when i have better day, but in general i have a nasty problem - enormous shoesize :/ if i go to any shop and i find a shoe i like, i know it will be too small and the staff won't find any bigger :/

As a rule....dress clothes. Suit and tie, dress shirt, dress slacks. Too constricting. Never designed with comfort in mind. I don't mind snug. UnderArmor doesn't bother me, but dress shirts just don't feel right on me. Plain cotton T-shirts are what make me happy.

some bras feel like heaven though! its hard to find a nice one, but when you do, and wear it for a few days, yo'll really love it.

i'm glad im not the only one who hates jeans. i really have never understood why people like them either. they make me feel like my circulation is being cut. and if i wear them im constantly aware of their uncomfy presence. lets not forget the icky feeling of sweaty jeans.

Tights and I'm agreeing with the majority on turtle necks uuuugh hate them. Anything really tight especially round my neck or arm pits and arms. Most headbands because they dig in my head. Tight underwear. High heels.
