Do you use a weighted blanket?

I love being squished, but I have a feeling it would be annoying to sleep under because it would be hard to adjust, and it might get hot like someone else mentioned.;;; I'd like one for daytime though. It would be soooo nice in winter, omg.
Hey, you know, it probably wouldn't be too hard to make one, or to modify a normal blanket to be heavier. (I'm poor now, so I think of how to make everything myself, lol..) But lol, not many normal blankets come in cool patterns like that. XD

Interesting.
I don't like weight and generally sleep with the minimum amount of covering, a sheet and maybe one blanket.
It's the same with clothes. I prefer to go around in shorts and a T-shirt even in cold weather. It has to be near freezing or cold and windy for me to rug up.

I voted no, but I plan to get one. Actually I don't plan it, but would like to try it some day. It's not necessary though, but I can't sleep without wrapping my head tightly into the quilt. And usually I wrap my arms around myself too.

I think I might like a weighted blanket. Maybe I could start with leasing one.

I want one, but the price for one as big and as heavy as I want is so much that I'm thinking I'd rather get a buffalo robe, which will last a lot longer and doesn't look clinical.

It depends on where you get one from. I actually found one that runs about $99 USD as opposed to the $200 it appears to be from at other places. It also depends on how big of one you want, and how heavy you want it to be.

I always loved to have blankets piled on top of me. That's why I love the cold weather. You can sleep under many. Unfortunately here, we never get cool weather. :(

Mine is made of cotton, and the weights are polyester and they're kinda loose inside, it never gets hot - I used it even during our heat waves and it's not even warm. I specified that when I ordered, I don't know if they're all like that.

How can you sleep with a something from the weight lifting room on top of you?

Is this for people who sleep alone?

haha, people are just different it seems :)

I like the feeling of being held tight, just not by other people.

Funny I should come across this just now. I was just at the dentist's and was wowed by the lead blanket they draped over me for the x-rays. I'm thrilled to learn you can just get something like to to have at home. But where O where do I write to send for it?
