I have problems with a lot of NT's and I know one that isn't like them. Most NT's don't care about being racist, saying inappropriate jokes, and they make fun of people with disabilities. I could go on and on about why I don't like them. And they haven't done this to me, it's just the way they are and how sensitive I am.

One thing I "never" understood( I say it that way because the reasoning seems so idiotic) is that everyone always complains 'how everything is so PC now, whereas back in the day, it wasn't'.

My question is simply....if everyone who constantly complains about it disapproves of it so much, why do they still agree to comply with it?

I believe deep down they do agree with it; they don't want to, but they do.

It's another one of those things that will change when humans evolve.

Well my brother is NT but has the social outlook of an Aspie. He doesn't drink (he's probably had a total of 5 alcoholic drinks in his life and he's 25), doesn't have any friends by choice other than co-workers, values his alone time when he's not working, doesn't need any social interaction at all. I say this because when he's went through periods of not working, he's been just fine with interacting with just my family.

I guess I've looked at him as a model of how all NTs should be. He's productive, has a job, isn't completely socially oblivious or negligent, but chooses to go against the grain.

I grew up in a family that wasn't NT if you define that as very social, only interested in current fads or social status. They all have special interests and all could be described as introverted. However, they all manage to have real jobs and real relationships. I don't think people always fit so easily into the category of NT.

If I though I could help, and if I noticed it in time. If I was reading I may not notice until it was too late.

In other words, they are ordinary, immature humans. Welcome to Planet Earth.

No. There would just be a new set of problems.

And me.

I've done this on many occasions.
I'm glad I did now.

You bet, and even if nobody reciprocates.

In the mid 80's a man was stabbed to death on Tottenham Court Road underground during rush hour and the people on the platform stepped back out of the way of his attackers, when i heard this news report I made it a rule that I will ALWAYS render assistance or try to get help.

@ the OP your generalisations of the majority neurology aside, I totally agree with your post and thank you for making it. I rarely visit this area of WP because of all the anti 'NT' garbage so it is refreshing to see your post :thumright:

I think if Aspie/Autistics were in the majority then we would bully NTs. So I dont have the all NTs are bad mentality myself.

I agree 100%. I would like to see NT purged from this board, because it shows people are not thinking, just reacting.
