I hate watching movies with other people.

I usually watch my TV shows by myself, but I love showing new things to my friends. There might be a movie I've seen a dozen times that I don't want to watch anymore for a long, long time, but if I meet someone who likes my kind of movies and they haven't seen something that I think is amazing, I want them to watch it, and I want to be there when they do.
Same with music. I like the experience of observing someone else's reactions. I wanted to school my friend Ricky on progressive rock, and he said to make him a mix of a few bands to listen to. What's the fun in that? I want to be there when they hear everything.

Yes! That's me. I experience movies again through others' eyes and it makes it fresh for me.

I am watching the movie, enjoying it jsut fine. Then here comes an apparently funny bit. Everyone else starts laughing their heads off. I just continue watching the movie quietly, trying to concentrate on the movie and not on the excessive noise that everyone else is making.
Then everyone starts to ask me, "what's wrong?" and assume I'm not enjoying the movie just because I'm not laughing my head off like a maniac at every single little funny thing that happens to occur.
Just leave me alone!

Hi CleverKitten, is it when you watch it on dvd? if it is? i would just watch it in the middle of the nights, cause i apparently have the habbit of doing that after i watch it with my family/friends to concentrate on the film.
I'm actually pretty similar when im playing games, at times it does get quite irritating because then i end up losing concentration. it even gets me even wound up that i end up losing.
It doesn't bother me so much when im drawing.... but id rather prefer being alone when i draw.
But on the bus i dont at all like to be interrupted with my daydream unless i know the person...
Yep, we usually always watch on DVD because the theater is so overpriced. I also dislike playing games with other people, because all they do is shout and distract.
