Answering questions in class was something I never did well, with no trigger I would get this overwhelming feeling of presque vu, I knew what the answer was but couldn't find it, and nobody every believed me this was the case.

My ability to spontaneously contribute in socialization also hinges on triggers. When there is a trigger to the memory I function fully. This goes for school and work as well.

Does anyone know of any good literature on triggers in memory? and there functioning in spectrum individuals?

I think this is why my brain is so randomly associative.

They came up with this stupid plan where I was not to touch anyone with hands feet or objects and people were not supposed to do the same to me either but that was never enforced but if I tried to defend myself or play I got in trouble. Some one shut a door on me so it would look like I tried to hit them with it. They said I was touching someone with an object. I couldn't even play tag or high five because it was touching people. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Aside from that nothing was done to teach me social skills, I was just punished for being myself.

In first grade, they asked my family to meet with e school psycologist. she said my FATHER was to blame. HE said she was NUTS! So I saw a psychiatrist, HE said I was smart and interested in girls. I saw a doctor, and he said I had ADHD, BTW AS wasn't a valid diagnosis then.

This stupid modern society. Can't deal with anyone that isn't inside their perfect little mold of "normal."

My school told me shut up and sit down, and didn't even venture to consider that I might be a little less than 'normal' and that I was just a kid who dressed funny, spoke at inappropriate times, was picked on and was no better than a D student.

I was just the reject student of all time. They didn't do anything to try and improve it.

Nothing outside seeing the school psychologist once every other week.
