I'm a mild extrovert, but I love being alone. It's contradictory, but it's true. I enjoy social interaction, but only with people I don't feel awkward and out of place with. Plus, there's usually sensory overload involved. Being alone in my safe haven is usually my choice, but when a good opportunity to socialize arises, I always take it.

I wish I had friends to do stuff with but also when I'm involved in an interest (when I was doing school papers/videogames etc.) I like to be left alone. Otherwise I wish I had someone to do stuff with!! ! :-(

The only time I can stand being around people is when I'm bored and I want to entertain and amuse myself. Sort of like watching TV or playing a video game. Even then, it's the last thing on my list to try to cure my boredom.

I used to curl up in dark, tight spaces because it felt nice to be completely separate from the rest of the world. Funny story: I did this at my first job with my desk. It didn't go over too well.

eh, I was like that until a year or so after Highschool, nowadays however, the loneliness kicks in full swing, especially since I lost my job and friends live too far away. wish I had a girlfriend or something, might make me feel a bit better :/

Being in the fireplace??

I've never lived anywhere with a fireplace, but once in a while I like to stick my head in the microwave.

Just kidding.

Most of the time yes, because it gives me more time to do the things that *** I *** want.

Yes I do.
Being with others is so exhausting.
Alone I can read and learn. I really don't think anything can be any more enjoyable than that.

I don't like not having the choice. I'm alone because I have no choice.

I like it more than being outside. I quite often have a feeling of wanting to curl up and hide.

Being alone is wonderful. It recharges my battery if I can get a big enough uninterrupted block of alone-time.

I like to curl up in small spaces too. I'm thinking of obtaining a cardboard box just large enough for me to fit into. I loved that when I was a kid. Now that I have a weighted blanket, I could use that in the box too. Heaven!

A lot of the time i do. But i'm around my mom and/or dad most of the time, and i like that.. as long as one of them doesn't start talking too much about something while i'm trying to do something else. Sometimes i wish i had more people to go places or do things with, because i like to do things with other people sometimes... it can just be difficult. I don't even really mind being out at a store, amusement park, or whatever around a bunch of people, to a point. I work in a store and i'm fine most of the time. I don't like for them to get close to me, bump into me, and all of that... but in a crowded situation i'm usually pretty much detached and view any person i'm not interacting with at the moment as just some moving obstacle i might have to walk around. If no one bothers me, a lot of the time i feel all alone in my own little world even when i'm in a crowded place. So, i dunno. I like getting away from the noise and stuff, but sometimes the presence of other people doesn't even matter unless i have to interact with them. And interacting with them is what can get tiring. Complicated.... Non-human animals are totally different, though. I can interact with my dogs or reptiles forever and not get tired of them being with me.

I love my alone time. I'm home, alone every second night, and that's the time that I do all my posting and catching up, here at WP. Alone time is very hard for me to come by.
