There's more to it than just a simple personality test.
I use the term "personality test" in a loose and general sense to refer to any sort of test that seeks to evaluate a person's behavior, thought, and feelings, this would include things like the MBTI, the 16PF Questionnaire, the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory , and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter.
I remember in grad school a classmate fo mine was talking about her MBTI results and how they clash with her own self-understanding. "What's wrong with me?" she asked, as if the test had it right and her own perception of herself after 20+ years of life was wrong. People put way too much stock into these things, as BErtram Forer demonstrated:
