I'm in college so I have to devote much of my time to attending class and studying. My major special interests include running, playing trombone, and learning about ASDs and other psychological disorders. If I had time I would draw (which has been another major interest in my life), but I have to study :( Sometimes I have trouble prioritizing and organizing my time. I would say that most of my time spent now is spent training for my college's cross country and track team (I run the 10k). I also have a music scholarship at my school for my trombone playing. I'm glad that it's literally paying something off. I'm also glad that one of my special interest (running) has lead to a strong social group, which has helped me with getting and keeping friends and learning more about the social world. I never had friends like these in my entire life. We eat dinner together almost every night, plus we spend lots of time around each other during practices and meets. I think it's pretty cool when I could delve in one of my interests and get this kind of benefit at the same time. I sometimes need to "cool" the lifting and running to study. I enjoy what I'm studying in school, even though it takes me a long time to study some things. To conclude, I sometimes spend more time pursuing my special interests than I should, at least in college. I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, which will take much time and devotion. Good thing I have an interest in ASDs and other psychological disorders to begin with. I want to help people with ASDs when I graduate.
