I usually use foam earplugs, but they are not that great for masking out all the racket in my flat. I hear the radiator all night, a pipe clicking over and over and the occasional car passing along the little ol' lane outside. Sometimes there are a lot of pepole making noise. I like the sound of these wax earplugs. Maybe I should try them.

I leave public radio (which broadcasts the BBC World Service during the late night and early morning) on at a quiet volume as white noise to block out other sounds and my tinnitus.
