>My own<, now that I'm making better progress at finishing my projects.
On a happy note, my track - which is my first completed original - was entered into a sound design contest whose voting ends in 5 days. I am in the lead so far. :D
*edit - Boy these links are practically invisible.

I follow Mark Hoppus and (used to) follow Pete Wentz. The boy got a bit annoying though. Those two would always talk to each other.

yeah i like blink 182's stuff. Mark actually sang backup on Simple Plan's "I'd do anything" off the "no pads, no helmets, just balls" CD. actually mark was on pierre's twitter too.

speaking of wentz, i saw FOB in concert back in 06 when i was living in phoenix. i got a free ticket from a friend of mine. i was off getting food or something before the concert started and he had some sort of AMP mobile backstage pass or something and while i was gone got to go see the band. it was fall out boy, all american rejects, and i think hawthorne heights. i like some of FOB and AAR but hawthorne kind of sucked. there was an opening band called from the first to the last which was really bad too and i remember we were joking saying that all of their songs sucked, from the first to the last, lol.

Vocal/lyrical music never did it for me.... In one ear, out the other. For whatever reason, I focus nearly exclusively on the melodic elements, trusting their story more than any words that want to get in the way.

I've been resonating with this one for the past long while.

I first saw FOB in 2007 (took photos so free ticket) and I photographed From First to Last early last year. That drummer was so keen on me, lol. But I wasn't paying attention to their songs. I remember when Sonny was their singer and they were a really whiney emo band.

yeah i'm more into the pop punk stuff. i refuse to call SP emo. i see them more like Blink 182. Fob is probably borderline but still pop punkish.

I only use emo for bands I don't like or actual emo bands (Embrace, Mineral, Rites of Spring).

Oh and I like The Kinks too.

Are you serious!? I used to listen to Daniel Bedingfield ALL THE TIME! He is still one of my favorite singers. I'm really disappointed that he only put out one album, and that he got overshadowed by his sister Natasha.

Daniel Bedingfield is really good isn't he, he's WAY better than Natasha in my opinion. "Gotta get thru this" is my all time favourite by him and is also one of my favourite songs in general.

Ever by Flipper is one of my favorite songs. I can't find a link, so you get the lyrics.

Ever live a life that's real
Full of zest, but no appeal
Ever want to cry so much
You want to die
Ever feel that you've been had
Had so much that you turn mad
Ever been depressed that
(to) those you turn to, you bring distress
Ever sit in tormenting silence
That turns so loud, you start to scream
Ever take control of a dream
And play all the parts and set all the scenes
Ever do nothing and gain nothing from it
Ever feel stupid and then know that you really are
Ever think you're smart and then find out you aren't
Ever play the fool and then find out that you're worse
Ever look at a flower and hate it
Ever see a couple kissing and get sickened by it
Ever wish the human race didn't exist
And then realize you're one too
Well, have you ... ever .. I have
So what

"Is She Really Going Out With Him" by Joe Jackson is basically my high school theme song.

"Ghost In You" by The Psychedelic Furs really hits home with me as well.

Both of those may be because I spent all of high school having a crush on one girl who never even considered me rather than because of my Asperger's though.
