I may soon be beyond childbearing age anyway, but if I do ever decide to reproduce, I would have a slight fear of imparting genes which may produce a debilitating form of autism. I would nevertheless prefer to have an aspie kid than a neurotypical one. I know how aspie heads work. I'd be concerned about getting a regular kid to behave in a responsible manner. They're just so handicapped by their tendency to conform for the sake of conforming, that I am concerned that I would not be able to help such children to think for themselves.
